As like many of you, we have seen Clem grow from the dependent little girl to one who can handle herself and get shit done. Seeing her transition on all three season was really heart warming knowing our little girl has grown into a more independent person.
However, playing Javier you get to see how she plays out and how your actions from the previous games have affected her personality and how she interacted with the world. We get to see how she would treat us not as a protector but as possible friend and companion. But then she gets introduce to Gabe and JEUS FUCKING CHRIST do I want whoop this kids ass. In the beginning, you think Gabe lost his Father so you try to take the mantle of a Father figure but you know what he does in return for keeping him alive? He gets you stab, throws you under the bus and blames you for everything. He doesn't own up to anything. In essence, he is becoming his father. While yes he is entering his puberty stage but I have never seen someone this fucking angsty before.
Now let me ask you something would allow your little girl to enter a relationship who is just much of douche like his father who is abusive and blames everything on others and never taking responsibility? I know as hell I wouldn't. Kate never even liked her relationship with David just imagine that with Clem and Gabe. We taught her better than this and honestly Lee is rolling is fucking grave right now.
BUUUT I heard that TellTale was unprepared this entire season that they rewrote this season multiple different times. Meaning anything could happen also I heard that they cut so much shit on Clem's side and trying to focus just on Javier and his family.

Really? I got a different vibe from it. I heard that little more than half the community supports this relationship.

After what Gabe did in Ep4, he was officially promoted to Senior Vice Fuckface, and now is hated and wanted dead by the majority of users.
Actually, that was BEFORE Gabe fucked up. I used to support the ship because I was hoping that Gabe would IMPROVE this Season.
I was actually REALLY impressed with Gabe when he (Determinately) managed to find Javi and bust him out of JAIL, and THEN led him to the Armory where the guns were. I also found it PRETTY HILARIOUS when he asked if the NEW FRONTIER had LASER SIGHTS.
But then Gabe SNITCHED on Javi, and things got more complicated. EVEN WORSE, the interactions between Clem and Gabe thereafter (I kinda expected Clementine to TELL GABE OFF for what he did to be honest) came off OVERLY RUSHED which raised a SERIOUS RED FLAG for me.
I don't even know what's going on with the writers of this series anymore.

dr_hong10 I actually felt the same way looking at these forums, yes I saw a lot of hate for Gabentine but an equal amount of love for it as well, mostly down to the reason that Gabe could make Clem happy.
But then epsiode 4 happened and yeah...
Well plenty more (hopefully) better fish in the sea for Clem, I don't want to see her with a backstabbing, ungrateful little shit, because no matter how much he cares or loves Clem, do you feel think a guy like him could make her happy? We've barely seen a humorous side of Gabe but I agree with GohanFGC though that the laser sights was quite funny, but the problem is most of the time he is portrayed as way too angsty.
Give me someone with a little more humour, personality and likeability than I might just give them a chance, try with Gabe? No. Just no.

i really go in depht about why people support this (accept whatever's put in front of him. pokemon mentality. feel that clem needs a boyfriend doesnt matter who it is) . why this is realistically impossible and out of character . and many other thing. Id love if you took time out to read it . and honestly im with you. Telltale got on more episode to either save the walking dead or fuck over the walking dead. hopefully they give this more thought then gotg episode two. They know they fuck this up . We got to let them know how we feel

Well, you go along with David's plan, I believe. I believe he mentions that Eleanor sent him to scope shit out(who made her leader, btw?), but I don't immediately recall anything specific. Otherwise, I was always under the impression that Mariana and Gabe underwent training for dealing with dangerous situations to begin with but were a bit rusty due to constantly being on the move.
Everyone is worried about the GabeXClem thing and there I am, worried that people started shipping Javi and David. THEY ARE BROTHERS! JUST WHY???
