How to redeem and forgive *****

I may have figured out a way that we could POTENTIALLY forgive Gabe for his snitching that's emotional, funny, AND SATISFYING. My idea goes like this:
First we see him curled up crying somewhere, Clem asks if he's okay, Gabe blames himself completely for Kate's death and says that he never got a chance to apologise to her for how he treated her all this time.
And THEN Clem talks to him about Lee and the mistake she made which got him killed. CUE FLASHBACK. Once that's done, they share a hug before Clem reiterates her point that when you let ur feelings cloud ur judgement people end up getting killed.
Once all that is settled, Gabe apologises to Javi for being so shitty, and conveys his appreciation.
Finally, Gabe asks Javi if he forgives him. If the player still isn't SATISFIED, you can tell Clem to punch Gabe in the DICK, WHICH SHE DOES. Then Javi says "Now we're even."
And there u have it.

Doesn't he already apologize if you talk to him in the place where you steal the van?
Gabe hasn't actually gotten anyone killed... In fact he saves Javi if you didn't abandon David in episode 3.
That's true. I agree, but not everyone is satisfied with that. I'm also trying to convey a means for his character to develop better as well as provide a potential flashback AND for the relationship between Clem and Gabe to develop in a way that feels LESS RUSHED. 4 birds with one stone.
I know, but a lot of people DO still hate him though. That's the whole point.
