Is their a way to save Kate from crashing or does it do it by default?

Always happens no matter what,
Thank fuck for that, shame she couldn't roadkill Gabe.
I'll just say that I don't share your feelings on Kate and Gabe.
I tried both times. The first time I said for her to come and that ended up in her dying. The second time I told her to stay put, but she says something that she couldn't hear us properly and she comes crashing anyways.
I played through a second time and no I even tried missing the quick time event where you had to dodge the truck but then felt guilty because it was really nice his Conrad sacrifices himself and gets run over.
Kate will still be alive don't worry. Telltale have built up this horrible forced romance since the start, they wouldn't just kill her off. If they had though then seriously what a waste of time. They might have been better off not even including her in the game
Well part of the community hated the forced romance so they had a choice to reject her so I wouldn't be surprised if they killed her. She's likely dead.
She won't be dude. I can't see it. Plus there was about 5 seconds after the truck crashed before it exploded giving her time to get out. A character is never really dead to me unless you see them die or a corpse on screen. I even still think Vernon is alive somewhere because a character saying "we lost Vernon and that damn boat" isn't enough evidence to me to suggest that he's dead. I just don't think Kate is dead. David will find out Kate's feelings for Javier at some point and i can see a fight between the brothers even if you didn't want a romance. It's still been forced. That's what i think anyway.

Vernon isn't coming back nor is any character from previous seasons. The writers wrote themselves in a corner. If Kate got out we'd have have seen her as we got a clear shot of the truck, besides the horde literally entered Richmond so she's dead one way or another.
And i never said they were. I was merely stating that certain characters we do not see die on screen and cannot be definitely considered dead unless visual proof is given.
We'll see Dan. I'm pretty sure she's alive though but we will see
No, not necessarily. In this screenshot, there is no Kate which proclaims telltale wants this to settle as a cliffhanger. I'm putting my shirt on that she either rolled out of the truck or they somehow written some wacky tale of her survival and no way they built up her character like that to kill her off in a snap of a finger. No corpse, no buy.
Because you are a soft little shit.
The whole point of that scene was to make a dramatic cliffhanger. It looks like a certain death in a flash, but when you actually analyze that scene, there are a lot of things that makes surviving that crash very possible.
If Kate isnt dead, its dumb as hell, even more stupid than Kenny being alive in season 2
I sure hope shes alive
I also seriously doubt they killed Kate. They spend all this time cornering us into this romance thing with her and they are going to kill her off...off screen? Seriously? Technically it was on screen but they never showed her dying. That's always for a reason....
I mean honestly with modern Telltalle I wouldnt be surprised if they pulled that though. Do all this only to X her out in a way where we don't even SEE her dying.
But simply going on where they traveled with the writing. Taking Kate out seems odd. Never even a single scene where the triangle comes up INVOLVING David?
It's sad when TTG has gotten so lazy I can't be for certain on that.
Depends how you look at the "Kenny death" really. If Tyreese can fight off dozens of walkers on the show then there's no reason why Kenny couldn't barge through them.
With the saving Christa scenario he could have got through a door in the room below, and in the alley he could have ran out onto the street and into a building. Sadly we have to make our own conclusion
I wish it'd been the case that if you confess feelings, she comes and dies, and if you don't, she survives. That'd be such an interesting consequence, like if if you care less about her, she survives. I'd have loved that.
I agree!
Sadly Telltale don't think about things like that anymore. They just want to write something as quick as they can, 90% sitting through dialogue, less episode time, gameplay etc and that apparently is good enough for them
