What Do You Want From Episode 5?
With the finale for A New Frontier just around the corner, I was curious; What do you want from the finale?
Do you want an emotional ending like the last two, or do you want a happy ending? Would you like most of the characters to become determinant, like Telltale hinted, or would you rather the characters have just one cannon fate? Do you want Kate to survive the crash? Do you want Gabe to die or get a chance to redeem himself? Do you want Javier to die? David to die?
Would you want multiple endings like season 2, or one ending like season 1?
Would you like extra DLC episodes like Minecraft: Story Mode had? (I personally think this would be pretty cool)
Let me know what you want from the final episode.

There should finally be a happy ending and that nobody is going to die.
I also want one ending so next season would be easier to make. I know there are two groups of people. Those who likes David and those who likes Kate and want one of them to be Javis right hand in next episodes. But that than would be pretty hard to make such a story depending on what you chose (David/Kate) so I hope both of them are somehow going to make it to the next season but I do not really believe that..
How do you now that telltale hinted a happy ending? I haven't noticed anything?
I want Javier to survive, but I don't want him to be the protagonist of the next season, I'd like to see the further development of Clems character. IMO the story needs to come back to Clementine as she has so much to offer.
I want this game to end realistically please. I don't feel attached to any to the new characters, but I'd like them to live on or at least behave "in the character" and die doing something memorable.
As long as it doesn't disappoint anyone, I'm fine with both.
I think have just one canon fate cause I don't trust determinant characters surviving for the next season.
I don't really care if she survives or dies there.
After episode 4, I think it's time for him to get out of my fucking face.
I want both of them to survive. I love the brothership between them, I love the their hug in episode 4.
I don't really care. I just want a good conclusion for this season.
If they manage to make them as good as Season 1 episodes, then yes.
I want Clementine to be alive, that is enough for me!!!
I need it to wrap up the Garcia's story, give this family an ending that is thematically resonant. Whether they live or die I dont care. Just finish their story. I also need it to reassure me that the focus will return to Clementine, the actual reason I play these games.
The only thing I don't want is a stupid cliffhanger. Cliffhangers do not work, they are a cop out ending and when the player has no idea when the game will return it just the devolper throwing one last middle finger at its fans. In my mind only one season ending cliffhanger has ever been good. When Riker fired on Locutus of Borg on Star Trek.
I want to see how much memes we will be able to make out of the episode.
All Out War type of episode for the game would be fascinating and to have action packed quick timed events throughout most of the finale. But might not happen since those guys are too lazy to even handle 42 actual different Clementine personalities properly. I'll settle for a happy ending instead of the usual dark gloomy ending since I care for mostly none of the folks in the game besides Clem, Kate and Tripp.
We already have action packed quick time events throughout the season.
I for one would prefer a slower paced E5 with hubs and 2h+, so that the finale can kick in some more emotions.
In The Walking Dead? You might be a little disappointed.
I want gabe to die
And another thing that I really dont want is for Jesus and any other comic book characters to come riding in on horses to save the day.
Wait, Telltale suggested that the characters would be determinant in episode 5?
I want Clem, Javi, AJ and Gabe (with possibly whoever Kate and whoever survives the Ava/Tripp draw) to just walk off and survive like badasses, hopefully for a season 4 or something.
Yeah, I think someone asked how many characters would survive this season on the Q&A not too long ago, and Telltale replied with; "That's up to you"
This!
I want Clementine finds AJ together with Javier... I hope Kate is alive that explosion in the end of the episode 4 I don't think would survive that even if the Truck is strong... So many people having a hate on Gabe, I don't hate Gabe but I think this kid is gonna end up dead together with his dad or Gabe will end up as determinant Character... Javier is in danger too I hope he did not die to help Clem to find AJ...
PS When Episode 5 will come out?
No one would be against longer episodes. But I think you can have emotional development and action in the same episode especially if 2 plus hours. Doesn't necessary have to be completely quick time events nonstop but that would be the point of a war like episode to have mostly action to defeat enemies. A big battle of the likes the video game series hasn't really done yet that much, but the comic surely has and TV show soon will Because they follow the comic most of the time.
When you say " kick in some emotions" do you mean sad sappy emotions? To each their own, but I think trying to find something to cry over at the end of each season can get a bit redundant after awhile. Expecting to get kicked right in the (dare I say that cringe worthy word) "feels" again and again.
I won't care if it's a crappy finale if and only if there's at least one previous-season flashback character that we haven't had yet (that I care about, preferably Sarah or Christa/Omid, but I'll take most anyone).
Gabe dead.
Do you want an emotional ending like the last two, or do you want a happy ending?
I want alternative endings like ''Evil Ending'' ''Good Ending'' something like that, or even Pizza or Ice cream like in s2.
Do you want Kate to survive the crash?
Honestly, no.. just no.. I mean she has to go. Now imagine this, if she survives and then David will know the truth between Kate And Javier he will flip off, and when he's gonna flip telltale will make us to kill him, just like Kenny in s2.. p.s i David is my favorite character in S3 sometimes he reminds me of Kenny.
Do you want Gabe to die or get a chance to redeem himself?
No, i dont wanna Gabe to die, just because all these fans want him to die 'cause he has a little crush on Clem, SO FUCKING WHAT?! its a normal thing between that age.
Do you want Javier to die?
No, but i think something bad is going to happen to him.
David to die?
NO! but i think he's going to end up dead.. Well its the walking dead!
Would you want multiple endings like season 2, or one ending like season 1?
Yes!
Would you like extra DLC episodes like Minecraft: Story Mode had? (I personally think this would be pretty cool)
It woulda been awesome, but i dont think so..
Let me know what you want from the final episode.
Okay what i really want to come back Kenny/Jane. What if clem is gonna reunite with AJ and Kenny/Jane at the Mcarrols Ranch [if you choosed to enter wellington or leave jane]
I don't know about emotional, but I definitely want a happy ending. One that involves the Garcias going/staying their separate way from Clementine as she goes about her business, as always planned.
I don't like the idea of most characters potentially dying anyway.
Absolutely yes. Need to beat those sexist overtones.
I always wanted him to live and that has not changed. I don't think he should have to "redeem" himself, but I suppose he should have a determinate scene along those lines for those who killed Conrad.
No, there'd literally be no point. This hasn't really been his story as Telltale has stated anyway.
I honestly can't tell you. Ava's already determinant, unfortunately, so I suppose that's a reason I wouldn't mind.
I suppose multiple endings would work better here given the less focused direction and the variety of determinant choices.
Yes.
i want Kenny/Christa/Lily/ to return in episode 5,as a way of showing that a possible season 4 may happen without Javi and his crew etc, go back to basics, less deaths, more story, more talking, more time,a possible future conclusion.
Yeah...Kenny's not coming back.
Same here!
I would like to see Eleanor's 'betrayal' to turn out to be a desperate ruse of some kind stirred up by Joan to have her allies turn against her, as I'm not satisfied with Eleanor having suddenly turned traitor and without any logic behind her motivations. Highly unlikely, but a man can dream.
I would like to see Kate survive the crash and avoid being devoured by the walkers, as I'd rather not see yet another token girlfriend dying for the sake of fueling Javier and David's angst. This has already been done with Katjaa and Sarita for Kenny's sake, and I'd rather see an actual payoff to Kate's role in the story besides killing her off.
I would like to see Ava continuing to be Javier's ally if she is spared, and that she doesn't hold a grudge against him for not choosing to spare her as she understands that Javier had no real choice in the matter because of Joan. Have her stand against David if he happens to cross a line in the finale, if it comes to it.
I would like to see Javier calling Tripp out on his attitude in Episode 4 if he is alive in the finale, if Conrad was killed due to becoming a threat to Gabe and Clementine's lives.
I would like to see Gabe realize the error of his ways and realize that he is become a danger to his friends because of his father's influence, and comes to realizes that staying by his uncle's side than his father's is the more pragmatic choice.
I would like to see David called out in his actions towards Javier and Clementine, especially with AJ having disappeared from his care in spite of having snatched him from Clementine's arms and how he barely had made much effort to contact his family shortly after the apocalypse had started, and then for trying to take back his family after Javier spent years watching out for them, and this is after David wanting to go back to the army and leave his family behind, from what I've gathered from the EP4 flashback.
And finally, I would like to see Conrad to be the first determinant to survive the entire season after dodging death flags more than once, as opposed to being given a permanent death in the finale.
That's about it.
After some thinking, I hope Javier, Kate and Gabe survive the "Civil War" inside NF and team up with what remains of New Frontier after that. Javier becoming their leader would be cool. Clem finds AJ and stays with them as well. Eleanor, Tripp and David can go to hell after their betrayal.
I think Javi needs to pick between Kate and David. It's too complicated to keep both of them alive. I'm mostly indifferent as to whether or not Gabe lives or dies, but I think the way he survives or dies should matter... If it's too cheesy or weird, I won't like it. Clem needs to live or else I'm not playing anymore because I have no interest unless she's involved. 500 Days wasn't that great and that's probably why. I want a longer episode that wraps up The Walking Dead games. I don't think a season four is a good idea unless AJ is found and Clem stays with Javi or something. There's just no point to drag it out unless there's really a story to tell. I think they took a wrong turn this season.
The whole experience to be a fever dream of Clementine.
Have Javier and the surviving siblings come in and not have Mariana die.
Honestly, I don't know what to ask for.
Da fuq? We got time travel now?
That most of them survive so they can get proper treatment and development in Season 4 since that hasn't been really the case in ANF.
No, I was just wishing it would have been a dream from a feverish Clementine.
And the Garcia family would be saved for next season.
Crazy, but it was what came to mind for me.
Let Conrad survive.
It would be cool if David/Kate determinat characters, here's an (example) back in (Season 1) you choose too save Carly/Dough that would be great if Telltale dose this too David/Kate and for Gabe to be heroic to (Clementine) if he would save her at a gun fight and finally it would be nice if (Jesus) came back and with his group an saved Javier's group from (The New Frontier) and the herd of walkers that just entered into Richmond.
That's what in my opinion on what I would like to see from Telltale.
Emotions at all. Whether they be good/happy or sad/sappy. My bar for emotions isn't particularly high.
And knowing how ANF works, that whole "war like episode defeating enemies" would mean constantly pushing E.
If they develop a decent FPS mechanic, fine. But I don't see them doing, and until then, they should avoid war-like scenarios like in the comics/TV show.
People need to live this time around, that's a must. It should end with Javier rallying the New Frontier, repairing Richmond and preparing for the future and whatever it might hold. Clementine should leave (for good this time) and continue searching for AJ. Playing as Clementine, you must track down Lingard and get the information from him. You need to plead your case to him and if you spat in David's face he'll outright refuse, prompting Clem to threaten him. Otherwise he'll happily give you AJ's location and thank you for not letting him take the easy way out. If Lingard is dead, Clementine obviously can't talk to him and will just go to the Ranch. There she finds that AJ has been happily living under the care of a couple from the New Frontier. Clementine either has the choice of threatening the couple and taking AJ, staying with them, or leaving him there, tearfully saying that she loves him and putting Kenny's hat on him if she has it. Clementine turns around (or walks a long distance away from the house and stops on a hill) and sees everyone from Season 1 and Season 2 that had died thus far smiling at her. Knowing that they would have wanted her to be where she is now, she smiles, finally at peace with herself. The End.
What started out as me writing a list turned into me writing a whole ending.
This should be better than save Alyssa in Life is Strange.
Gabe because he ****s everything up, got Javier stabbed, told the group about Conrad (If you shot him).
