Christa Hated Clementine & Isn't Ever Coming Back.
Christa absolutely hated Clementine's guts and wanted her dead. She blames Clementine for the death of Omid and her baby and for 16 months straight, Christa treated Clementine like pure trash. She mentally abused her and that is why Clementine never talks about her.
Example Number One: Christa tried to get Clementine killed.
During this scene, Christa gets attacked by some bandits and Clementine has a choice to sneak away or throw a rock and distract them, and if she sneaks away, Christa calls her out to get the attention onto her and tries to get the bandits to kill her. If you throw a rock then she just runs and doesn't even try to come back for Clementine. You know why? Because she does not care about Clementine. In her eyes, Clementine caused the death of Omid and her baby so if Clementine got attacked by the bandits, she would be selfish like JANE and save herself. What would Lee or Kenny do in a situation like that? Try to save Clementine. What would Jane or Christa do? Try to save themselves. So if you like Christa and you hate Jane, you are a hypocrite and you lack brain cells.
If you still do not believe me, look at Christa giving her this look of pure hate.
She even spoke to her in a tone of "I hate u"
That is why Christa is never as talked about as Kenny or Lee. Christa was a bitch. Lee and Kenny were not bitches.
Stop asking about Christa's return in ANF, she isn't coming back. She isn't/wasn't looking for Clementine in season 2 and will never be looking for Clementine. Jane is the equivalent of Christa. Selfish

Christa took care of her. She lost her husband and her child within a span of a couple months, of course she's going to be cold. But she kept Clem alive and told Clem to run. That counts for a hell of a lot.

I think if Christa hated Clem so much she would've just abandoned Clem or shot her in the back of the head. The bandit thing happened so fast that her first instinct was to run away if you tried to help her. Afterwards we hear a gunshot and Clem gets separated in the river, so Christa couldn't really have a chance to find Clem.
I don't know if I'd say she hated Clementine. She stayed with Clementine a lot longer than Lee was able to and I think she was just miserable and missed Omid. He was clearly all she had and I'm sure she blames Clementine to a degree but it's sort of like Clementine being blamed for Lee getting bit. I could also say maybe Christa and Omid shouldn't have been shagging in the other bathroom while Clem was left alone. So it's partially on Christa too and I would think Christa just feels tremendous guilt that she was partially responsible as well. If they made it to Wellington together, who knows. Maybe they'd be able to fix their relationship. I don't think she hated her though. If she truly hated her, she'd just have left her months before that.
Also, it was a tough situation. Yelling "Clementine, run!" to me sounds like genuine concern, not some master manipulative maneuver. It's not like Christa could go far. Hell, if anything Christa might've been ready to die at that point. Not saying she's dead, just saying it's possible.

Christa wasn't selfish. Not even close. Do you honestly think a selfish person would pick up the mantle of looking after Clem after her boyfriend was killed? For 16 months, no less? Hell, she even stuck with Clem after losing her unborn child, all the while teaching her how to survive (building a fire, looking for food, etc).
Calling her a "bitch" after all the shit she went through with Clem is like calling Lee an asshole for taking the girl under his wing. It literally makes no sense.
And as for the bandit thing, there really was no way that Christa was getting out of there safely. If anything, she saved Clem by keeping the bandits distracted and giving her a chance to escape.

Wow...I disagree with you OP. Christa was not selfish...nor did she hate Clementine. But I do think Christa was so damaged emotionally by how Omid died that she became cold and distant.

I had the same conclusion about Christa that she was neglectful. I don't think Christa was selfish or tried to kill Clem. I just think that Christa was bitter towards Clem and resented her.
Yeah she hates Clementine so much that she covered for her when those bandits attacked. That's what hatred looks like, totally not love.

Doesn't Christa tell the bandits she's alone?? Anyway ur not paying attention to the context at all. They have no shelter, barely any food, no warm clothes, it's raining and cold and they're traveling on foot to a place that could be overrun, a like Terminus, or not exist. Why wouldn't Christa be in a bad mood? It's less to do with Clementine and more to do with their circumstances and she has the responsibility for their survival on her shoulders.

She didn't hate her and she sure as shit did not want her dead. She kept her safe and taught her a lot of stuff that she needed to know in order to survive. Apart from that, she even said that she's by herself when them bandits showed up in Season 2.
