Should they introduce a blind character?
Honestly, to me, I feel like having a blind person appear in the TWD games would be interesting to see. Mainly because I'd like to see how long they survived being blind.
Thoughts?

They would've already been dead two seconds into the apocalypse
Not if they had help from other people, though.
Even with help, not being able to see at all in an apocalypse and surviving four years is close to impossible
But still possible, though.
Unless it's Toph, I don't really see the point. Even if one is still alive, they'd be a huge liability and wouldn't really contribute all that much, both to the group and to the story.
Unless he/she can "tell the future" and has "visions".
Isn't that a great??
Does that guy from Rouge One count?
...
Okay, gonna be serious now. I think it'd be pretty cool to have a blind character, but as others have said, it'd be quite illogical as they'd have a lot of trouble surviving.
He should have a dog and really good hearing / depth perception, it would be like a running joke like a zombie would pop up and they'd be like "You did'nt hear that, zombies are loud AF"
Oh man that is one fantastic unintentional pun.
We already had Sarah and Ben and now Gabe. How many more do we need?
We all know Clementine is a devout neo-nazi.
Telltale made a bunch of stupid cubans survive on a fucking van for 4 years I'm sure introducing a blind charecter won't be hard to explain
But they didnt even explain how they survived, they just told us that they survived for 4 years cuz plot, even though all we have seen of them so far suggests they (or at the very least Gabe and Kate) should be dead
And Gabe is still acting like a liability after all these years.
Javi mentions that Kate was the main reason that kept them alive so there's a little explanation but how? Idfk niether does telltale lol that's why a blind charecter can be done with no clue how just #telltalethings
Yeah, I know not everyone is a "natural" like Clementine, but damn, you should at least have learned that listening to your elders and not causing scenes is pretty smart, Mariana was 10x smarter than Gabe
I don't think a blind person should be included. It wouldn't seem all that believable.
... unless of course, they use the Force to see. That'd be cool.
If keeping someone alive who can see is already extremely difficult how hard do you think keeping a blind person alive would be? Same goes for someone with disabilities, we saw what happened to Sarah.
Adding a blind person 4 years into the apocalypse is impossible and unrealistic.
This.
Define mentally challenged. Because I think that's an exaggeration.
I was just kidding, they're just morons.
Well, Ben's a moron. Sarah was just ignorant due to sheltering/patronizing and emotional and Gabe is just hardheaded and impulsive due to genetics and shit.
Assuming the blind person had assistance from more than 2 people, I'd say it is very possible for them to survive.
Nah, they're all pretty much the definition of moronic most of the time.
Eh, we should see more of those, but I don't think they'd get proper treatment this far into the game series.
But not likely ,extremely unlikely infact
Confirmed Special guest appearance from DareDevil
That all comes down to whether people are willing to help the disabled to continue living, and some people just aren't willing to do that if it means prioritizing their own lives over the disabled.
And unfortunately even in the real world, there are plenty of disabled people who don't even get the treatment they need to live their lives to the best they could in spite of circumstances, and they definitely wouldn't last very long in a zombie apocalypse when immorality and selfishness are in abundance.
I'm lucky to be given what I need to be able to hear just as good as a normal person would, and I may have a chance of surviving in a apocalypse myself if it came to it. Some person just aren't as lucky, unfortunately, as the more complicated disability they carry makes them easier targets for anybody who wishes them harm...which isn't all that different in the real world, sadly.
What if they introduce a blind con man who tricks people into thinking they can't do anything and they betray people who wouldn't expect it so they wouldn't have an alibi of someone warning good people that the blind man is evil
For a couple weeks? Maybe. For 4 years? No. With telltales writing, sure, but realistically, no. They won't survive long.
So basically, another Arvo situation except the character actually is evil this time?
I don't know if Telltale should touch that given their track record.
It would have to be either in a settlement or some other hard for walkers to get to location. And/or maybe a Blind Swordsman type scenario.
