Imagine this...

Imagine if the last survivors are Clem, aj and David. What would actually happen? They both hate each other but surely they wouldn't just go their separate ways. I definitely think it would be interesting. Opinions??

  • They would either come to a compromise, perhaps find a way to forgive eachother especially if AJ is alive. Otherwise i think they would argue and eventually go their seperate ways. Maybe clem would kill him if AJ was dead

  • Why wouldn't they go their own ways? Clementine doesn't trust David and wanted to leave him to die with no love loss for him. I also doubt clementine would trust David around AJ after he took AJ from him. Not to mention I'm sure David would have little problem going his own way. The only reason I could them absolutely staying together is through forced writing.

  • It would be like Kenny and Jane and AJ would have to decide between the two.

  • It wouldnt be like Kenny and Jane, while David possibly did take care of AJ according to Lingard, I doubt he has a deep attachment to him like Clementine does, there is no reason why they should fight, rather than just leave each other

  • If it David, Clem, and AJ are the sole survivors, in order for Clem to even consider to be around David, AJ's behavior and mood would have to reflect that David was taking care of AJ.(hug, saying his name, being happy.) At that point would reconsider her opinion about him. From there, I think it would just be two hotheads just arguing until they get to the next settlement and moments that David wish he could've be a good father to his kids type speeches.

  • Depends on whether we're controlling one of them but for arguments sake I'll type my comment as if we're not.

I picture David wanting to stay with them, protect them, but Clementine just ain't having it. Even with strong insistence from Javi Clem just refuses to believe there's any good in David. If she were to give him a chance I think it would have to be out of loyalty to Javi, "I don't trust you but I'll give youa chance for Javi" or something like that. But I don't know if I believe Clem would be willing to take that chance.

What if AJ doesn't want to leave David? David could be this nice guy that Lingard claims.

  • Well that and he looks like Kenny except without the eyepatch, beard, and shitty textures.

  • He's lived his whole life with clementine and only said her name with a slight reach out to her when she left. I doubt he'd have become more attached to David in the brief time they were together vs his close relationship with Clementine.

    It is possible.
AJ might see Clem as a mommy and David as a daddy like Kenny used to be.

And the character of Clem is a girl easily forgiving peoples.

If you don't see this, you don't know Clem very well.

She always forgave pricks in the past since season 1. She is from inside a very sweet girl.

But I agree combination Clem and David won't go without trouble, Even IF they will get along well, David is sometimes very unpredictable and easily angered. If not with Clem, he may cause trouble with other survivors crossing their paths. This may endanger Clem and AJ too.

  • He's two. A month and a half for a two year old is like years for someone that age. David wouldn't be as close as Clem as a mother, but more like a uncle figure. I'm sure there is going to be some kind of bond, atleast the saying of his name.

  • She's not S1 clementine which I don't understand why people think that. She killed a man over fake bullets in Ep1. That's not very "forgiving" is it?. Also what is clementines character suppose to be this season?.

The girl deep inside her is still the same sweet pea from season 1. It is hidden, but she still exists.
And in the junkyard when they buried Mariana there was our Sweet Pea again.
Look how she always forgave Javi for prick decisions. Still following him and saving his ass many times. Like she wanted to prove to be a valuable girl in his life.
And Clem didn't mean to kill Eli. She thought the bullets were fake.
We see how very nice she dealt with a stupid Gabe to calm him down. This reminds me of Sweet Pea from season one with Ben, being very nice.
I see in episode 1 how easily she got more soft after Javi told his name and showed he was interested in her personally.

  • Only when AJ don't want to leave David she will try.
Or when David apologies to Clem for the past.
