What if? (The Hypothetical Thread)
So in this thread, I'll be asking hypothetical questions that pretty much come down to "What if this happened" or "How different would the story be if this happened" and questions of that nature. Feel free to ask your own questions as well. I'll start, What if Chuck managed to sneak past the walkers in the sewer and found the Cancer Patients hideout before Lee? How do you think that would go down?

Hopefully Vernon wouldn't have shot him. I'd like to think he wouldn't. Maybe things could have gone differently.
My "What-If?":
What if Carley/Doug were never shot?
Lee would have probably found the rest of the cancer survivors and vernon would go back to get Brie and find him there with the others and take him to crawford which would probably change a small bit with Chuck being there.
Chuck would probably be on board with Looking for Clementine and would give some sage advice to Lee and the rest of the group like he does with Lee during episode 3 about Clementine.
I think Chuck would eventually meet his death in season 2 if he finds clementine after the scavengers attack Christa maybe in amid the Ruins or No going back.
I feel if he lived thought that episode he would probably die in the shootout with the russians or get shot by Arvo by waking up with clementine to the noise that mike , Arvor and Bonnie made while they try to sneak off with the supplies.

He'd join their ranks for a bit, sharing candy and strumming on his guitar to lift their spirits. At least until Brie tries to smash it because she's afraid Oberson will here it.
i think he would have died either in No time left or in season 2 .
What if Mariana didn't die? Could she have been best friends with Clementine?
I feel like Mariana would go through a character change especially if Gabe had died in her place and Clementine might convince and corrupt Mariana into becoming more alert and less innocent sort of what Sarah was supposed to become
What if season 3 was good?
Then we (as the TWD community) would still complain. We always find something to complain about.
Season 3, where? Tell me the location of Season 3, I want to play it so I can forget about A New Frontier.
What if Gabe was never born?
What if Clem and AJ had ended up with Luke and Bonnie instead of Kenny or Jane?
They'd have had even cheaper deaths than Jane and Kenny did.
Depends would they be determinant? If so telltale would have killed them. If they were not determinant i think Luke would survive the season and Bonnie would be determinant in episode 4.
What if we kept Glen?
1. No Rick(Rip)
2. Shane would be protagonist.
3. He would've taken over the farm, if needed.
4. Carl would be a stronger character.
That's actually pretty intresting to think about. I'd imagine they would head south. Maybe to Texas like Mike said.
I'll answer your three in a single shot. Even without the stress of Rick returning to the group, Shane was still impulsive, reckless and very temperamental. He'd have probably done things to put him and the group at risk and wouldn't have lasted nearly as long as Rick has. I'm not sure about the Carl thing though
What if Sarah never had PTSD?
She probably would've shot Carver, Troy, Tavia, Jane, or a Russian dead if she got the chance. It was a curse as much as it was a emergency restraining bolt.
What if all determinant characters were Conrad?
then choices would have mattered in all seasons.
How would S2 be different if Kenny/Clem killed all of Carver's group in the ski lodge (with Walter, Nick, Alvin still being alive)?
He'd have to have aimed and shot Carver first and succeed for that scenario to happen.
I'm guessing the group would have stayed at the lodge until AJ was born. Sarita wouldn't have died so Kenny would be chill. Rebecca may have lived since Carlos would have delivered the baby with the proper supplies and she wouldn't have been exposed to the cold. Meanwhile Jane and Mike would be stuck in the prison work camp with Tavia as the new leader of the settlement.
This would have probably been the best and most beneficial thing for the group
