First point you make is based on your actions. If Gabe is a jerk to you it's because of you. See above post for examples.
This shouldn't even be an issue. Of course Gabe loves his dad. You make it sound like that's a bad thing. He is loyal to his family just like Kenny. By your logic you are also saying that Kenny was also selfish for caring about his wife and kid. Besides, Javi and Kate didn't raise him. Gabe was old enough to understand the situation when this all started. It doesn't matter how long you have been away. Family is always family. He is loyal that's good.
And he m endangering everyone is news to me. When did he do that? The only person he endangered was Javi and he apologized for it. See above for examples of when he has helped.
Also try to keep your anger to a minimum. We are trying to have productive discussions. No need to be aggressive.
Gabe is a little shit who sold us out if we shoot Conrad. He even told Javi to shoot Conrad, but if you don't? You're a fucking coward, at l… moreeast according to Gabe.
He only cares about his dad ever since they were reunited and will only do things if they help David. I get it, David's his dad, but Javi and Kate raised him in the most traumatic time of his life. I would think he'd be more loyal to Javi at this point than David.
He's also fucked up on multiple occasions that endanger the people around him, and don't even get me started on his crush on Clem (that better not go anywhere) because she is too good for him.
I even hated Gabe before we even knew his name. When he first appeared in the trailer for S3 I was all like "Who the hell is that little prick wearing that bean hat? I HATE HIS GUTS AND I JUST WANT TO PUNCH HIS SCRAWNY RAT FACE IN!!!".
I don't enjoy Gabe as a character. I dislike the moments that he's on the screen. Everytime he opens his mouth, I'm disappointed by the writer's overall lack of care towards creating something aside from a stereotype as teenagers deserve more diversity and depth. He should have the most emotional, impactful moments in this season - for me it just isn't there.
That having been said, I do advocate for more screen time for Gabe in hopes that this will develop him into more than a walking stereotype. What's depressing is his potential is so frequently wasted. If it isn't utilized in Episode 5, Telltale should just kill him off. Start fresh so he isn't towing the line of an entire season worth of baggage.
But Clementine and Gabe is probably gonna end up together anyways because the writers at Telltale has chosen so, even though it makes no sense at all
It does. Gabe is the only boy or person that is her age that she encounters in 4 years. I would say at the very least they will become very close friends. Similar to Carl and Sophia.
Clementine hasnt aknowledged it yet, and it would be totally against her character to get in a relationship with Gabe.
Clem seen relationships form in all of her groups. I'm sure she noticed a trend on how boys behave when they have a crush or in love. I would think her IQ of noticing relationships would atleast be higher then Gabe's, who only relationship he observed is the one between his stepmom and uncle. Clem knows that she has a strange influence on him and been sympathetic towards him more than any other person. But why?

Clem knows that she has a strange influence on him and been sympathetic towards him more than any other person. But why?
Because she knows what it's like to be the kid in a group, with experience in a number of the things Gabe is going through. Which is why the whole Gabentine thing has started to get out of hand and their interaction isn't being tapped for its potential like it should.

It doesnt make sense, just because theyre boy and girl does not make them attracted to each other, thats not how it works, thats the hollywood version of relationships, but then again, A New Frontier has felt more like a hollywood movie than a walking dead game, Im not against them becoming friends, although I still think Gabe would drag Clementine down, but the way telltale is going, theyre either gonna end up in a relationship, or Gabe is gonna die
Clem is sympathetic towards him because she is a good person, not necessarily because she has the same feelings he does, I also dont think that Clementine fully understands what Gabes actions mean, she has never learned about love, sure, love is a basic human emotion, but considering she hasnt shown any signs of attraction towards Gabe yet, and the fact that she has matured in a zombie filled world, I dont think she necessarily has the social capabilities of reading the signals Gabe is sending, which means that she likely just thinks that he is being nice, and doesnt want to be mean

Fuck no, that angsty annoying little shit needs to die ASAP.
He just keeps fucking up every time and bitching how he wants to be treated as a man, even though he never acts like one. I tried to sympathise with him in the first couple of episodes, despite his shitty attitude, but after his betrayal in ep 4 that ungrateful asshole is dead to me (and hopefully dead for real).
Unlike most people, I killed Conrad not because of Clem, but because he put a gun to Gabe's head and was gonna shoot him. I didn't want to kill him, but because Gabe's life was in danger I took that shot. I SAVED HIM. And how does that prick thank me? BY THROWING ME UNDER THE BUS!
And now TT is trying to force a relationship between him and Clem... sigh
Apparently giving a gun to someone and acting super awkward around her, I never said they made sense, but then again, none of the GabexClem stuff makes sense, and frankly, I dont see why we haave to spend time on 2 different romance plots in a game that is already pretty short at least the Kate xJavi romance makes sort of sense, and I would rather have them be in a forced romance.
I really hope potential season 4 will have Clem as the playable character, and then if Gabe survives, we can get to know him better and hopefully he wont be such a kid, then along the way, we could either reject or accept Gabe, because frankly right now a romance between the two makes no sense, they barely know each other, heck I barely even know Gabe beyond just whiny kid, which seems to be the extent of his character development
I dont think she necessarily has the social capabilities of reading the signals Gabe is sending, which means that she likely just thinks that he is being nice, and doesnt want to be mean
Okay, let's be honest: what signals?
Imo if there was no Gabe the plot would be shit af. Imagine if he just didn't exist and my boy Conrad was holding a gun to Clem's head instead. If you shot Conrad, there would be no real consequence for being a trigger happy virgin cause Gabe won't tell you off, and you won't regret your decision to be a rabid dog. He's essential to the story right now, and he makes it at least a little bit interesting. Without him each episode would probs be like 40 mins long lmao.
I agree. My main concern is that Gabe tells everyone regardless of how you treat him, which given the whole theme about doing what it takes for your family, seems counter-intuitive. And even if the initial impressions seem mostly unlikely at this point, Gabe was always gonna bring some moral conflict to the story.

Clem knows that she has a strange influence on him and been sympathetic towards him more than any other person. But why?
I think part of the reason for her sympathy towards Gabe is related to her own personal experience with certain characters which she's interacted with in past Seasons (Kenny, Nick, etc). It also relates to her own decision, back in Season 1, to risk the lives of other members of her group just to be with her family in the same way that Gabe wants to be with his father.

I never thought of it that way. Even though Daivd's a ass, she still respects Gabe wanting to do the thing that she wished that she can do: protect and find her parents. I wish Telltale can elaborate on this.
That was something that's been on my mind since I saw "I don't think she'd be good for him" was an option, as well as Clementine's reaction to David showing up outside of the storage/warehouse.

I would like for Javi to survive and that is more likely, but I am not sure if the same goes for Gabe. I wish he can survive so he can grow out of his immaturity and prove that he has what it takes. It would be a shame to kill another child character just because he is disliked. I believe this series needs more characters to carry over and I also think Gabe has potential.
Either way I'm hoping for something better after seeing David kill Clint, the only REASONABLE character at the end, in front of his own son. If u have Gabe stay, telling him that his own life matters more than David's revenge, he may FINALLY be starting to understand as he ADMITS that Javi is right as far as his life is concerned.
this is Sarah all over again when season 4 pops up and we get another Child character that were supposed to protect instead of Clementine then we re gonna start talking about how the new character s the worst character ever even worse Than Gabe.

I'd say his character had use before episode 4, if a little bland and annoying. But post episode 4 he has lost any possible likeability and death is the only possiblity I see where anyone is happy with him
Everyone seems to be glossing over all the things mentioned above. He made a (determinant) mistake in telling on Javi. But that is the only real mistake he made. Before episode 4 everyone said he messes everything up but before then he didn't do anything bad.

Like your user name.
BECAUSE HE WEARS THAT DUMB HAT.
See above post for evidence to the contrary. Also, please watch the attitude. Explain your position calmly. No need to be aggressive
I've noticed many similarities between the two. It's a shame Kenny fans deny this. There are obvious similarities lol
Go home Shane, you are drunk.
Shane's dead.

Yeah, it should've been complex but not complicated--there's a difference, I swear.

Agreed.
I feel like the writers are trying to copy Jaime Lannister or Dwight but it's really not working if you killed Conrad
