Overkill's The Walking Dead Possibilities
The Plot Quotes:"In 2018 Washington will fall – what will you do"
This means that we are next door to Alexandria ,Kingdom, and Richmond-ish.
You guys think that we will play out scenes from All out War, Governor War, Clem and Javi's Arc where we can experience all key events in all Walking Dead Universe in a first person shooter perspective?
Or maybe, and this would be fan pandering to the max, Will they go in the direction that Dragonballz is doing with Dragonball Heros, which is just tending to all realities that could've happened?

I was at Comic-Con when they were doing the VR experience for the game. It was amazing! But anyway, I asked the, if the game was set in the Comic or TV universe. They said it was set in the TV universe. Also, it takes place at the beginning of the apocalypse.
I think I'd be down for a game that played out similar to Day Z, in that you have to wander the environment trying to find food, water, shelter, ammunition, weapons, etc. while meeting and forging alliances with other survivors, only the whole experience is set in the Walking Dead universe. Maybe each person has a potential faction they could join, such as the Saviors, Alexandria, the Hilltop, etc.
Is that kind of what this game's supposed to be about? Or is it more of a narrative kind of thing? I haven't really heard much about it.
There is going to be a stream later today and they are apparently going to be talking about the Overkill Walking Dead game.

I've been excited for this game ever since i saw the first trailer. Stoked for it to finally come out.
Tv universe! This is some false advertisement.
Lol I just only found out it was a thing 10 minutes ago, kind of excited for it though.
""We're working with Robert himself," Listo said when asked about which version of TWD Overkill is basing its series around. "Seeing as he writes the comics, it's only natural that we'll focus on that. Personally, I love the focus on horror in the comics. We'll focus on new characters and new storylines, same universe."
I found this quote on a Eurogamer article and this comes from a Reddit AMA by the developers supposedly. If you are right then how, and why, did they change their direction with it? Not claiming you are lying of course and I know you aren't involved with the game, I am just curious and asking rhetorical questions.
How many times does this game get delayed?
Well, it's been two years. They could have changed the direction. Also, they didn't seem like they were 100% sure themselves. I asked around 7 of them. Some said TV, others said they have no idea. They were all official employees who were working on the game.
Just seems weird is all, really. I don't mind either way, but i feel more can be done in Washington with the Comics. Hopefully we get a more official, and current, answer soon!
Yeah, I checked out what they Overkill said about the new images. It actually does sound like it's set in the comic universe.
