I didn't think I needed to answer that as that's not the part I cared about but fine. In fact we'll even talk about really taking things out… more of context.
You know how the media goes completely mad about the smallest things in video games and takes them completely out of context? Yeah Imagine the shitstorm if games started letting you literally abuse kids. And they wouldn't even have to take it out of context. But again I literally don't care about that part of your comment
I would find it funny if they put it in the game, out of all suggestions we put on here, they would put the one that would (sorta) make a character act unrealistically/we being in control.
Nah. Make Clementine playable in the next episode and give an option to friend zone him. Emotionally hurting him would be way more satisfying that physically hurting him.
I'm genuinely convinced this forum is full of teenagers, so it's safe to say that if people here were forced to live in the apocalypse, most of them would behave exactly as Gabe does, and would be as annoying and childish as him.
I dislike Gabe and never thought I would have to step in to protect him (or anything concerning ANF), but boy, here we go.
Gabe's as annoying as anyone would be in that situation. He just lost his younger sister and basically had zero time to grief, he straight up got reunited with his long-lost dad, a person he admired and looked up to. Amid this mix of feelings, he also thinks he's useless, because everyone treats him like he is. He ain't Clementine. Clem's got a dozen of chances to prove her worth and impress others, even involuntary. Gabe's got none of that. It drives him insane. He knows he has to grow up, but neither Javi or Kate allow him to do it. He wants to be an adult, but he doesn't know how, that's why he acts recklessly and stupidly exposes himself to danger.
Just try to leave Clementine out of this and put yourself in Gabe's shoes, it's not that hard to be a little more rational. You wanted character development, personal depth and people behaving appropriately to their personalities. Gabe is a prime example of a good writing, and all you do is whine about a teenager who acts exactly as he should.
I dont really need a violent option with Gabe, hes such a bad character I just want him gone. To be honest if anything I want gabe to realise he sucks and then die or at leats have everyone just treat gabe like the liability he is.
Someone I knew absolutely hated ben and said episode 5 was fantastic as everyone else treated ben like an idiot and a liability as the player in question viewed him, ben himself acknowledged he was shit without any mouthing off and it made him a lot more likeable in his eyes
Nah, I completely buy most teens being like Ben or Sarah but NOT gabe, Gabe goes beyond believably with how crap he is. Betraying your own family and still thinking your all that after four years of horror is insanity.

For starters, I'm not much of a teenager and speaking of realism, it's not realistic for someone like Gabe to be this angsty four years in the apocalypse. Nobody is asking for Gabe to be as competent as Clem, they're just asking for him not to be some childish, one note, stereotypical, angsty, and selfish brat who's constantly doing stupid things that lack common sense.
Realistically, I'm pretty sure most people would identify with Ben as far as having to live in the apocalypse for a few months.

I don't like him either but people tend to explode under pressure or while having troubles with something. Lily revealed Lee's secret as well when the atmosphere was tense, Kenny burst out a dozen of times when he was supposed to be quiet/sit still. It's Gabe's nature to be a hypersensitive fuck-up.
Gabe probably hates Javier and Kate sometimes, I'm sure every teenager has been through that rebellion period of their lives when they used to tell their caring parents they hate them; they would do stupid shit only because they were dealing with such a welter of feelings all at once.
Him behaving like this after the years of surviving is just a disadvantage of introducing a new protagonist; the only explanation I can come up with is to say he was really sheltered and kept away from trouble. I can imagine them driving through the country, so constant traveling would spare him most of the danger and post-apocalypse horrors. Additionally, he was only a small child and I doubt Javier got his "there are no children now" talk from Charles.
Nah, I completely buy most teens being like Ben or Sarah but NOT gabe, Gabe goes beyond believably with how crap he is. Betraying your own family and still thinking your all that after four years of horror is insanity.
Speaking of slaps, Clem has atleast one slap/hit scene in every season, but all determinant. Stranger(season 1), Sarah and Walt(season 2), Ava(season3). They all sound like they are increasing in power each season. Clem slaps more people determinant than any character in the twd universe. By god, she's got the pimp hand.(determinant)
Clem slapping Walter if he let Nick die...

Slapping Sarah was way more about getting her to be alert to what's going on than allowing some players to take out their frustration.
With that said, Gabe actually does need a smack for both reasons if it actually comes to that.
When Javi tells Gabe revenge isn't worth his life, Gabe will stay with Javi. The Gabe we knew before would run together with David after Joan/Clint like a moron.
I think deep down Gabe wants to help his dad out there, but it shows that he is having doubt of what to do, because he asks for the player's opinion wether to go help David or stay behind with Javi.
From what I see here, he is still afraid to kill/pull the trigger, he wants to protect his precious people and yet he can't decide to do it in hostile ways. He needs to overcome that issue first.
In the end of episode 4 Gabe seems to finally change and listen to Javi.
When Javi tells Gabe revenge isn't worth his life, Gabe will stay … morewith Javi. The Gabe we knew before would run together with David after Joan/Clint like a moron.
So I guess there is still hope for Gabe.

Dingdingdingdingding! And this is why the sequence where he reveals what happened to Conrad wasn't a bad idea, just horribly implemented.

Carver hit's Clem (determent) Clem also gets hit by a gun if you run to help Kenny. I think that guy Jane shoots hits Clem also and it's determent. Gabe's gone through nothing of real significance compared to Clem. He should lose a finger. Get slapped by another person or hit with the handle of a gun or get bit by a dog. Or be forced to look away at a scene of one person he cares about trying to kill another person he cares about or shoot the person he cares about that's about to kill the other person he cares about. Or losing a lot of people he considered as a friend or family. Or lose both his parents and seeing them as a zombie. Also that image is gross to me and clearly fanfiction created. The ship is definitely imaginary and has zero basis to be a ship in the first place because it's one sided and they are not compatible. Even in age Clem's more mature than the sheltered and overly angst brat. It's a fanfiction ship and it's misinterpreted. The only thing the shippers have is that he's boy and she's a girl plus they're the same age. Or it's cute to them or they're cute together in their opinion and they're entitled to their opinions but in reality the only reason or reasons why the shippers want it to happen are all shallow and or subjective.
Normally I would not hit him...but after he blabs about Conrad...if you kill him...I think he has earned a smack or three...considering the shit he gives you if you do not kill Conrad.
As for Gabentine...it should resolve thusly....
I like you too Gabe, but only as friends.
I am sorry Gabe, but I am into women.
I am sorry Gabe, but I like men like I love my coffee...strong and black.
I am sorry Gabe, but I like men.
I just got hit in the skull with a brick and do believe it has impaired some of my higher thought processes, so yes...I think we should be an item...now where are the grape tacos?

I'm hoping Gabe does something stupid that pisses off Clem and she just decks the shit out of him. This game would bare minimum get a B- out of me if that happened.
I love it...
Gabe- "Hey Clem?"
Clem- "Yeah?"
Gabe- "I've been thinking... and, I think... we should be boyfriend and girl friend..."

Yeah but this is telltale, no one gives a shit about telltale they could have a scene where we gut punch this kid and no one would care
I would find it funny if they put it in the game, out of all suggestions we put on here, they would put the one that would (sorta) make a character act unrealistically/we being in control.
double baby
to think they would've fixed this by now
Why not both?

As much as I prefer the first one, the third and fifth ones are friggin hysterical.
both!
I have this tendency to switch between computer and my phone, like, currently I am sitting in front of the computer while holding my phone.
I still wouldn't hit him.
well i believe you can just use the emoji's on your phone for it but as for i think you got to do something like this :-)
nvm try reading this https://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-use-emojis-on-your-windows-10-pc/
welp I guess I should have installed that emoji apps for my phone huh...
thanks for the advice fam!
I WOULD

I think there was enough child abuse in season 2
