She's alive since they have to keep the vital love triangle story going not to mention they had to try and make a cliffhanger somehow.

She's in a armored, bulletproof van. She's fine as long as she stays in the van.She knows what she is doing. They been living and hiding in vans for years.

well as i just rewatched the cutscene and here are three reason's why kate is most likely dead. One she was wearing no seatbelt . Two she hit the thing very hard. Not sure at what exact speed but enough to make you go flying out the window. And and a propane tank blew up right next to her. sending that heavy ass truck jolting up. that hit right there should kill her in reality. (not sure if that tank was filled with propane. but it was some type of flammable gas)

I tried to take the image of Two Face on the hospital bed in Batman: The Dark Knight and place half of Kate's face over the side that wasn't burned. Unfortunately I suck at editing images. If someone can do that then I think that is how Kate will show up in Ep. 5.

Kate should be dead, but I don't think she is for an instant. Without a seatbelt, hitting the wall at those speeds, even if she moved to the back she would've been tossed around that truck like a ragdoll. Surviving that, dazed and wounded, she'd be subject to an explosion and the hoard. If she'd leapt free of the truck behind the barrier, she'd be stunned/dazed from the impact and in the open for the hoard to have a snack before they stroll into town.
Seriously though, she'll be alive. We'll be lucky if they decide to give her any lasting injuries.
I would rather have realism over drama in a Walking Dead game, but I guess we dont get that anymore, also dont care about Kate like at all, so cliffhanger wasnt really a cliffhanger to me, especially since by all logic she should be dead, so no cliffhanger, but we know that she will alive cuz "lol plot"
There is no way she is dead after the setup she was receiving. They just want us to sweat until Ep5. She'll be injured at the worst.

Doubt it. Besides the whole no dead body - no death thing, ANF has so few plot points that keeping this stupid romance thing alive and a problem between Javi and his brother is something TT can rely heavily on.
