I think he is very important for the rest of the story

I want to teach Gabe how to survive the zombie apocalypse like Lee taught her
Why would Clementine teach a worthless kid how to survive when Gabe had Javi and Kate to teach him in these years? Piece of shit doesn't even know how to kill walkers and Clementine is braver than him.
If there is a Season 5 I want to play as Gabe and Clem, it switches some scenes we play as Clem, some scenes we play as Gabe, like we did with Javi and Clem in A New Frontier, and as Clem we protect AJ and Gabe could protect him too.
Telltale will never do something like that. They know he gets a lot of hate.

I'd like one season where we don't have to be a caregiver or having to teach someone how to survive. I would prefer if Gabe naturally became… more a decent survivor on his own rather than having to be taught by Clementine. In regards to Gabe and Clementine in a relationship I'm all for it down the road when they have legitimate chemistry and happens organically opposed to what we have. One main reason I'm opposed to Gabentine is due to the fact that if they become a couple one of the main storylines would be a teen love drama which I will pass on. Not to mention I don't want to deal with a heartbroken Gabe when they inevitably breakup.
She'll move on. She's had to kill Lee&Kenny and see her parents as flesh eating zombies not to mention losing over 20 friends in 4 years. At best she may be upset with him and move on.
he was taught to survive i'm pretty sure, as he has a gun. we've rarely seen him use it due to the fact that he has not been in very many scenes where he needs to use it. we'll probably see more of this in episode 5 if he actually has been taught
he wasn't near walkers in ep 3 and not really in ep 4. i do remember in episode 2 he wasn't shown shooting any walkers but he pulled out a gun and was holding them off
I personally think he's important because ever since I saw that scene where he wanted to be a man like his dad I started getting interested of what will happen to him in the future
Well I still think he's important cause ever since I saw that scene of him saying he wants to be a man like his dad David I started getting interested in him and what will happen to him in the future.
Because it's a zombie apocalypse you think because someone fucks up in a zombie apocalypse sometimes he's not allowed to be taught how to mature and survive? Also you can't really blame Gabe for not knowing for the past 4 years who you should really be blaming is Javi & Kate because they never seemed to show him how to survive properly all they ever said was to hide in ''cars'' if he saw a walker or heard a walker instead of giving him a gun or anything else to defend himself they also did that with Mariana.
Then what's the point of him being a character at all? TellTale makes it sound like Gabe wants to prove himself but how's he going to do that if they kill him off?
What is wrong with this? Why is it that if Gabe fucks up he can't have a crush on Clem or have a love relationship with Clem? You're like a dad trying to keep his daughter away from a boy expect this time you want him to get eaten by walkers or some shit like that.
Gabe can change you know in Episode 5 it's not too late also Gabe was only whiny around the other people in the group not Clem he was always cool around Clem and even if he was whiny around Clem I'm pretty sure Clem would still teach him because it's CLEM cause you know this is the girl that's mostly kind around people she trusts so I'm pretty sure she'd go easy on Gabe.
I think he is very important for the rest of the story

That could be good provided we get a timeskip (Unless we get DLC for ANF).
If there is a Season 5 I want to play as Gabe and Clem, it switches some scenes we play as Clem, some scenes we play as Gabe.
I agree. Though I wouldn't put it THAT far off. I'd go with either Season 4 or ANF DLC.
I guess that makes sense he DID threatened an unarmed man but before they should've gave Gabe a gun or something else because before he didn't threaten Conrad cause they didn't meet
Look I may ship Clem & Gabe but I don't want it to be a thing until Gabe changes so I KINDA agree with you if I was Clem's dad and he was selfish and impulsive I wouldn't let him date Clem until he changes
* He does but he would better do something really freaking great to redeem himself after all he did.
* I think @Chibikid explained it wel… morel in the post above. No surprise he didn't give a weapon to Gabe as when he gets one, he threaten an unnarmed man few hours later.
* Everyone make mistakes at some point, but Gabe is a special kind of troublemaker. He's selfish and impulsive. I'm sorry but I don't want to wait until I see a moment when he puts Clementine in danger just because he wants to prove what a man he is, just like it happend with Javi. So yeah, if I were her dad, i definitely wouldn't let my 13 year old daughter have a romantic relationship with someone like Gabe.
I say he's important because ever since I saw that scene where he wanted to prove himself and wanted to be a man like his dad David I started getting interested in him and what will happen to him in the future.
he is very important for the rest of the story
You kidding right that kid had one from the most awful writing moment on this season and you say he is important.
I definitely wouldn't ship Gabe & Clem if Gabe yelled at Clem but I don't think that would have happened if Clem shot or didn't shoot Conrad Gabe would've probably been nice to Clem since we all know he has feelings for her
Yeah right so Gabe can snitch on Clementine too for saving his ass. Imagine this:
"Clem, shoot him!" [Gabe is held hostage again(lol)]
… more "But are you going to snitch on me too?"
"No I will never do that again I swear Clem!"
"Okey" Clementine says and shoots which saves Gabe.
Gabe cleans his clothes from dirt and turns to Clem while bringing up a megafon from his tiny pocket
"Why did you shoot him Clem!? You are murderer! Uses the megafon "Everyone! Clem shot an innocent person in cold blood! Clem is a murderer!"
[Shoot Gabe] 60% player choose to shoot Gabe.
[Smack Gabe unconscious with the pistol] 25% choose to smack Gabe unconscious.
[Threaten Gabe with the pistol to shut him up] 10% choose to threaten Gabe with the pistol to shut him up.
[Run away] 5% (<-- Gabentine shippers) chose to run away.
I think he is very important for the rest of the story, I want to play as Clem in Season 4 and I want to teach Gabe how to survive the zombie apocalypse like Lee taught her and I want Clem to protect Gabe like Lee protected her and eventually Gabe changes.
This is redundant and why AJ is in place for this plus the two are relatively close in age making this completely awkward.
If there is a Season 5 I want to play as Gabe and Clem, it switches some scenes we play as Clem, some scenes we play as Gabe, like we did with Javi and Clem in A New Frontier, and as Clem we protect AJ and Gabe could protect him too.
Gabe is a pretty flat character and wouldn't be a versatile not fitting playable character imo.
(Most people will disagree on me with this one) I want Clem & Gabe to someday be a love relationship because I think it's time if Clem found someone she loved besides AJ because she has said in A New Frontier she had no one she truly cared about expect AJ.A
I can see your thinking behind this but I feel the love angle between them is far less interesting than it should be.

Cough cough Teach Sarah how to defend herself Cough Cough
Well I still think he's important cause ever since I saw that scene of him saying he wants to be a man like his dad David I started getting interested in him and what will happen to him in the future.

Tehnically, they did. Look, he is holding a gun on his pants
Why is it that if Gabe fucks up he can't have a crush on Clem or have a love relationship with Clem?
Clem needs friends, not love for fuck's sakes. Ben, Duck and Sarah were better friends for her.
Gabe can change you know in Episode 5
Too late for him to make me change my opinion, he threw me under the bus like a fucking whiny shitcock after everything I've done for him.
Clem would still teach him because it's CLEM cause you know this is the girl that's mostly kind around people she trusts so I'm pretty sure she'd go easy on Gabe.
No, she never should teach people how to survive when they're whinig a lot about shit.

What if he breaks her heart?
We will give him a very slow painful death
She'll move on. She's had to kill Lee&Kenny and see her parents as flesh eating zombies not to mention losing over 20 friends in 4 years. At best she may be upset with him and move on.
I guess but you'd think we'd see him help kill walkers

I doubt Gabe would do that cause he had feelings for Clem the whole season.
I don't think that's right I want him to change I really do and I want him to live and prove himself.
