Ugh... Clementine doesn't need a boyfriend. But if the writers really want her to have one, yeah, make him someone who is not a little shit and is such an insufferable character.
I would just have him be a kindred spirited person towards Clem. Make him childish in the positive way, optimistic. More like Omid, but badassness Omid>Lee. Have him be the guy that gives people second chances, which would be the foil to his character. I would want this character to be a ambiguous race as well. His character branding, simlar to Clem's hat, would be a cool belt his dad used to beat him before the outbreak, but keeps it because the times of abuse reminds him why he is so happy.

We don't know that for sure, and you saying clem is mixed because he said that her boyfriend needs to be black is just as bad as what he is saying. It literally sounds like your are saying that because she is mixed, she needs to be with another mixed.
It depends on how you view your father / father figure. This doesn't mean that you want to be with your parents in a romantic sense, but if they have qualities you value there's nothing in the least bit weird about that.
My father is a hard working man. We were never wealthy, at best we scrapped the bottom of middle class, but I find men who work hard far more attractive than men who simply have money. He's a man of few words, and small gestures - in that sense I feel confident in a relationship that doesn't include always saying ' I love you '. I appreciate a man who has a darker sense of humor, and isn't necessarily politically correct. There isn't anything he wouldn't do for his family, and he's loyal to my mother.
Is he perfect? Far from it lol. He has a temper, but it's never turned on the family. He doesn't partake in any of the traditional household roles - those were left for the girls of the house. He's stubborn, and his pride can keep him from accepting help from others or seeking medical attention. In all of his flaws ( some others unlisted ), I actually don't mind men who do the same things, and I don't resent him for it either.
So would someone who reminded Clementine of a young Lee be a bad thing or weird? Well, I suppose that depends on what you think of Lee. Does Lee possess characteristics of a boy/man that would be good to her? The Lee I knew did.

Yep. This would be very boring.
Within a year all main girl characters going to be gay.
Nothing wrong with gay but this would be forced, like we having the year of the gays.

IF Clementine was gonna have a girl/boyfriend/ferret lover, why should it be a badass? just have it be a kind person, who is good with people, but perhaps too trusting, that way he/she/it will keep Clementine in check, and keep her from falling off the brink of humanity
Not that I think we need to mix romance with TWD, especially not since half this season has been romance already, and there have been spent way too much time on romance, considering how short the episodes are, also, can we wait a few more years before Clementine gets a boyfriend/girlfriend/ferret lover? its not like you fall in love with the first boy your age you see
If Clem were to have a boyfriend, I think he should be her moral compass so she doesn't become cold-blooded kind of like Jane. However, he should also be good with people while being aware of his surroundings (like Tyreese from the show minus the 'not killing people' part).
As for how they should handle a Clementine relationship, I'd wait a season or two for it to build up. I don't like romances that involve the characters falling in love with each other as soon as they make eye contact for the first time (Twilight).

And remind her of a young lee
Why would she date someone that reminded her of a father figure she once had? I mean, I know everyone has their kinks, but that's just weird.

Better question is why does she need one?
The better question is why do we need another redundant discussion about this??
Because it's a slow time waiting for the final episode. This happens every waiting period

For sure...cannot have those races mixing.
That and there's basically nothing else to discuss in regards to EP5.
And why is this?
Because people say so.

Why can't it be a girlfriend?

No ellie 2.0 please.
Why Ellie 2.0? Because she'd be lesbian too? XD

I'm just saying it could go either way. She could even be asexual.
Based on episode 4 I don't think she is asexual.
For fuck's sakes, this is The FUCKING Walking Dead, not The Walking Romance.
Daddy issues

Um...why?
That's how I saw Clem and that's the Clem I tried to create, but Telltale seems to be saying "Fuck that, she likes Gabe and you have to accept it."
Because people forgot that The Walking Dead is about humans getting eaten alive and not about romantic sht.
Uh?
It was sarcasm Bon.
Why boyfriend? She could have a girlfriend for all we know! XD
...why...?
Gabe, of all the people. Smh Telltale. Clem knows better than that.
Here's a great idea!
why doesn't she have a harem instead?
XDXDXD
ugh
I think her and Carl could be a thing
