New Skybound Article Mentions "Future Content" | Possible DLC Or New Season?
A recent article published by Skybound mentions "Future Content"
"Episode 5: ‘From the Gallows’ is rated ‘M’ (Mature) for Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, and Strong Language by the ESRB. Future content in the season is yet to be rated."
I think this was intentional and I believe they have been planning extra content for a while now, what do you think?

I'm certainly interested to see what "future" content they are referring to. It could be DLC after ANF is finished.

Perhaps we'll get 8 episodes like Mine craft.
It's probably going to be one of the following:
-Clem DLC (added)
-The same story from a different perspective (ex: Clem)
-A prequel DLC where you play as someone else at the beginning of the apocalypse (ex: David)
-Some trash DLC where you play as a more grown up Gabe (worst option, don't think about it)
-DLC of some literally who characters like 400 days
What I wish it was:
-An announcement of a surprise Episode 6 (since episode 1 was in two parts) and we get extension to Javier Garcia's character since we all know they won't make him the protagonist for season 4.
Most likely Clem DLC and it'll be about the timeskip you spent either with Kenny/Jane/Wellington/Alone.
That or it takes place after New Frontier if Clem leaves Javi and his family with AJ.
It will be none of what you said. It's 100% going to revolve mostly around Clem since that is the biggest demand right now and it's what will bring in the cash. If they announce another game that revolves around Javier then even LESS people will buy that than the amount of people who bought A New Frontier.
Yeah, that was my first thought. Episodes are super short, there might be some more to the story after the finale.
I know it's not gonna be about Javier. Thats why I put it in wishlist instead of probably.
I feel like a DLC of Clem wouldn't be bothered with simply because I assume season 4 will be all about her. But I guess there's a fair chance of DLC being about her too, to bring in sales.

Why do you think season 4 will be about Clem?
I, on the other hand, have had a feeling this might be the last season Clem is in since her role is so reduced, and the idea is to move to all new characters completely, unlike how they had to put Clem into Garcia story. I might be wrong, but that's my impression.

IDK, I feel like its better for a character to be MIA. Whenever we find out what happens, they always die.
Not that I particularly care for Christa, but it's the reason why I don't want them to acknowledge Kenny's status in the Wellington pathway. They'd probably just kill him off offhandedly too. I'd rather just headcanon that he's found someplace nice to live in.
Do you trust telltale to handle a story with Christa well?

I hope they do 3 extra episodes Minecraft style. I think this season needs this to make up for the ground lost on the first 2 episodes.
Considering how much money Telltale makes off of TWD, it's a safe bet we'll get Season 4 but with Clem as the main character. They confirmed it's HER story and it'll be stupid of them to just drop her as a main character, who we've been with practically her whole life, and replace her with Javier who we just met this season.

Better question is why do you think there will be a 4th installment.
Yeeeah well didn't they kinda replaced her as the main character already? I think it's stupid too, and I hate to be driven away from her like that after all we've been through in s1&2, but that's just what I see happening in s3, and I can't see it suddenly change back to all-Clem story in s4.
TNF didn't sell as well as season 1 and 2 by far, but it still sold. And they know why it didn't sell. (no clem, no hubs, short, treated Kenny/Jane poorly, etc). They're not gonna let go of the franchise that has the potential to make them reliably financially successful.
Oh, well, I mean, why wouldn't there be another season, it's Telltale's TWD.
The way I see it, as long as TWD comic continues, so does the game. Walking Dead is Telltale's cash cow and I don't see them ending the series while the comic continues.
That and the fans absolutely love Clementine and want to see her grow up to an adult (I know I do.)

Minecraft Story Mode was released as a 5 episode season with the main story happening in episodes 1-4, the DLC episodes where announced along with episode 5 which you can see in this old blog post.
If there is any DLC for ANF i doubt they will announce it straight away but as E3 is really close i suspect they would announce it there to get more publicity.

Well given their AMA and the fact they didn't announce it at the same time as EP5 release date, I'm gonna assume it's only 5 episodes. But who knows. They could announce it later like you say.
I think I might be in the minority where I would prefer the episodes go on rather than DLC of a new story. The characters are criminally underdeveloped and nothing made me gasp like season 1 and 2 did. But we shall see.
I think is just a DLC episode (because future content being plural would get our hopes too high), but not focused overall on Clementine. I doubt Javi will be the focus, either, but I think he'll be in it.
