I remember when I first finished S1. Lee's death messed me pretty bad... and then THIS song appeared...
In S2 for me pretty much every … moreending song was sad, but those two I find the most heartwrenching
And of course let's not forget about this one
This is the obvious one when I finally sat down and listened to it without the bullshit still on my mind
However, of all the vocal themes, this one is the most...well, listen to it

I really don't think any can beat this.
Omid got the saddest death music of any character. Funny, since he was such a lighthearted guy.
Or maybe all too fitting, this music represents another good light in a dark world being snuffed out. Leaving the world a bit more bleak.

Yeah I remember when my save files were lost, and I've recreated the save file where I left with Kenny, already knowing his flashback-fate, whilst hearing that music playing. It did made me a bit teary eyed.
Goddammit, this first song is perfection . After the ending + this song combo, I was torn apart for a couple of days. I was just sitting there and listing to this masterpiece and wondering what to do next. And now, it all comes back...

This song really gets to me because everything has gone to shit at this point in the game. Its also cold and miserable which really suits the tone of the scene.
Well, isn't a lot of the music "remixed"? I mean the "run" soundtrack sounds like a more intense version of the bandit raid music from season 1. And there's like countless versions of the Clem and Lee theme sprinkled around.
and yeah, Happy Birthday is like a perfect companion to that. it's so bittersweet.
Here are my favorites from each season,
Season 1: Take us back, no doubt about that.
Season 2: Probably this one, Remember Me.
… more
And for A New Frontier, I would choose this one so far ( which was used in S2 btw), will see if this changes after the finale.
Why am I even doing this to myself, Telltale know shit about building atmosphere with music that's for sure. Those feels...
Yes they did but for once I don't mind that as imo this song fit very well and made that scene even more touching ( if we bypass the fact Kenny's death scene was made in a stupid flashback and is total bullshit overall).
This is the most miserable song in the game IMO. It perfectly captures the feelings of disgust, pity, sadness, grief, anger, and hopelessness that I had during S1E2's ending.

About Duck as well, check it out.
Oh and while you're on this awesome channel, check out Aimless. Poor Clemy.
I found At Peace sadder, in context.
Alone, is Mother and Son
I have listened to Aimless (Thanks mate!). Great, but not sad. At least compared to these two.
Not sad, but tense.
No problem.
Which one is tense?
Aimless. It has a lot of suspension.
That is the correct word for it.
This one is the saddest hands down.
In Mother and Son, from 3:15 onwards is the saddest OST in TWD so far.
I would say this
or this
YES! The one I've been looking for! Although, I'll put this at #2. In Context at least.

This gotta be the saddest for me
On another note, that last one is apparently Jane's theme.
...Yeah.

Now that I remember it, it was the only time I ever shed a tear. Ever.
Sorry that I got a bit carried away
That first one should have played more in the actual season.
Like Mariana's burial.

I just realized something the ost "Happy birthday" Is actually an remix of this song. But this song is truly amazing shoulda added it along
WTF man I am crying right now

I don't really know the name of this track so hopefully one of you guys could help me, its the first song in the video.
Well, I can name a few
-Goodbye
-At Peace
-Take Us Back
-In the Pines
-Remeber Me

wow, they reused Nick's Sorrow for Kenny's death?
just wow.
so omid could get a unique death track, but not Kenny apparently. Pffft
Omid's soundtrack was reused as a remix somewhere in season 2.

yeah we already established that, but a remix is hardly the same as a blatant re-use
Did you? I was just stating a fact btw, I didn't mean for it to sound like it was a re-use
The soundtracks of Season 2 are the only things which beat both Season 1 and ANF. Here are mine:
it's all good
