Do you think David'll be angry about who Javi chose to save at the execution?
David's always going on about family, and if anything, Javi can consider Tripp more family than Ava since he's known the former longer as an ally, but David trusts Ava more, and I feel like who Javi chose to save or accidentally (from his perspective) got killed will help impact how David treats Javi in the finale, assuming it's not a forced conflict.

I dunno. I sided with him every time I got to. I tried to save Ava and he knows that I did try.
Since telltale is really trying to push this brother vs brother angle he'll probably be angry If you choose Tripp over Ava.
True, but he does stay calm around Javi while imprisoned if Javi decided to wait for David instead of running off with Kate.
Maybe? He is clearly very close to Ava, but she ultimately didn't die if you picked Tripp.
I tried to save Ava in my game, what I'm hoping is that he will realize that I intended to save her and that I wasn't planning on Joan killing who I intended to save. So I'm going to say no if you tried to save Ava, but quite possibly if you tried to save Tripp.
Then no surprise he's angry all the time for you, he was always calm with me (Side with him of course), they even hug.
I mean I tried to save Tripp and then David said "Javi what the fuck is wrong with you" so he might be a little upset but if you tried to save Tripp he should at least be glad she is alive.
Yeah, I can already see Telltale pulling their classic "Your choices matter" move.
If you try to save Tripp: "You didn't even try to save her! Fuck you, Javi!"
If you try to save Ava: "Thanks to you, Ava is dead. Fuck you, Javi!"
This is what I thought. I saved Tripp so I could look good to Eleanor while punishing her for betraying me. Also for keeping Ava alive.
Probably, he always searches for a reason to be mad at Javi.
Part of me has hope that he'll listen to reason, some of us were expecting David to blame Javi for Kate getting shot no matter what but if I remember correctly he got more pissed off at the people who actually shot her than Javi.
100% xD
That's exactly how it's going to happen.
There's no way you would have known Joan would kill the person you wanted to save
I don't think he will because one choice shows that you tried to help and the other worked out in his favour so he shouldn't be angry.
Unless he watched a playthrough or saw spoilers beforehand, that is.
this. i only bought the game after watching cuz i wasnt planning on buying it at the time. im gonna play episode 5 blind, though
Cool.
He's a Kenny of this season, of course he'll be mad.
I can imagine him being mad if you tried to save Tripp over Ava, saying something like "you're just lucky you were dealing with a liar like Joan."
If he gets mad for me trying to save Ava then that would be the dumbest thing ever.
Well if you betray him and run away with his wife...I mean...yeaaah...that's pretty understandable
Wait WHAT you can actually wait??
Jesus christ I need rewind.
Exactly. Kate is not his wife anymore. A pre-apocalypse marriage-certificate is nothing more than toilet paper in the world of Walking Dead.
Probably, but I chose to save Ava so I'm not going to experience that.
Well Ava's dead anyway so David isn't gonna be happy about it.
I sided with him all the time, he shouldn't have any reason to be mad at me.
David didn't left them to go in the army, Javi talked him out of it and he's not shown to be abusive
It's not that hard to play the episode again and make different choices, especially since it's very short.
When it comes to things like Conrad, different s2 endings, and all these triangle relationships, I need rewind.

Hardly hurts the goon and chooses less violent route
Alfred should be proud and have no reason to be upset at me.
"Bruce, you nearly killed that man!!"
Javi: exists
David:
I gave him a hug.
"You betraying bastard! One second you're by my side with hugs and fistbumps, and the second later you're out there touching my wife and getting my people killed! I never should've trusted you, brother. I knew it the moment you weren't with our father when he needed you. You never had the guts to confront what's bad."
"First off, I never let Kate touch me. Second of all, I did what you wanted me to do. Escort Kate and Gabe to your house, tried to save Ava and shot Joan. I think you should be happy."
Woah, where'd the roleplaying come from? XD
I dont think David will be mad if you tried to save Ava. Probably Tripp and Eleanor will be hostile.
