Music That Fits Telltale's The Walking Dead: Themes and Emotions.
When it comes to The Walking Dead, Telltale's The Walking Dead in particular, there are quite a few themes that pertain to it whether it's "Family," "Survival," "Loss," "Death," etc. In fact there are a hand full of songs that do come to mind when looking at some of these themes.
For example, when I think about the effort Lee put into protecting Clem leading up to his death, the kind of person she ended up becoming because of Lee, and the fact that Clem was essentially "Powerless" to prevent Lee's death; I feel as if Linkin Park's single "Powerless" pretty much sums up the overall mood of what happened when Lee passed away in Season 1 in terms of both the lyrics of the song and of the underlying tone of the track itself.
Here's another example. In the Zombie Apocalyptic setting of The Walking Dead, humanity struggles to survive. In a world where every other person is either infected or is trying to screw you over, every decision you make could be your last. With the world as you knew it all but gone, left as a "Wasteland," hope is replaced by fear. With all of that in mind, I feel as if Linkin Park's song "Wastelands" is a good fit for The Walking Dead in terms of the Survival aspect of it.
In this discussion, I would like to hear other people's opinions about the kinds of music that COULD fit Telltale's The Walking Dead. I would also like for people to go a little bit more in-depth and try to explain the themes and emotions, pertaining to The Walking Dead, that people base their choice of music off of.

Linkin Park
I think that their song "Iridescent" fits Clementine's journey perfectly fine, especially all the sadness and losses along the way. But instead of drowning in depression, she did "let go" and moved on.
"When you were standing in the wake of devastation
When you were waiting on the edge of the unknown
And with the cataclysm raining down
Insides crying >Save me now<
You were there, impossibly alone
Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?
You build up hope, but failure's all you've known
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go
Let it go"
Then, there is also the Dead Island Trailer Soundtrack. It has no lyrics, but in my opinion, the melody itself is just so calm yet tragic.. that it fits the emotional aspect very well. When listening to it, I get reminded of all the impactful moments of Telltale's Walking Dead franchise. Positive ones, as well as the many many sad ones.
I first discovered this piece of music in a Kenny-tribute. It is so well done and cracks my heart every time I watch it. I'd like to share it in case someone is interested. The video starts after 10 seconds of the intro.

Too late, this season has no emotional moments except a lazy half-done flashback with a Season 1 character which says a lot about this season.
That's not what this discussion is about.
Technically it kinda is
This thread is about Music alright?
"Clementine" by Resident Useless. Pretty self-explanatory.
Resident Useless - Clementine
Also "The Light Behind Your Eyes" by My Chemical Romance. I always felt this song kind of fit The Walking Dead Season One, like Lee telling Clem to not lose hope even though the world is dark and grim. It also begins with "So long to all my friends, every one of them met tragic ends," which is pretty fitting for a zombie apocalypse.

"So Far Away" by Avenged Sevenfold AKA my favorite song of all time. Listen to the entire thing. It's brilliant. It would fit the game absolutely perfectly as an end credits song
When I've done decision that I did not wanted to, but I had to do it to protect someone else/or save someone's else life.
So let mercy come
And wash away
What I’ve done
I'll face myself
To cross out what I’ve become
Erase myself
And let go of what I’ve done
Try to consider and explain how this would tie in to Telltale's TWD. Gotta keep that in mind.
Ok most of these wouldn't fit in TWD because the melody and style and all but the lyrics seem pretty fitting to me.
Someone murders someone and it's haunted by that? Sounds familiar?
I don't think I need to expain this one
(This one is curious. It's about a man whose wife left him for another man and now he's all on murderous state)
Way too obvious to me.
I like Radical Face way too much
DEATHDEATHDEATH
Redemption? Lee?
Do I need to explain this one?
MORE DEATHDEATHDEATH
GABE IS THAT YOU?!?!
My prediction for Episdoe 5
You know, they're called "feelings". We haven't seen them since 2012.
This song basically describes Clementine's Life throughout the series
