David can be annoying sometimes - no DNA test needed, Gabe - but he is Javier's brother and the game tries very hard to remind us about it. I think the main theme of the finale will be revolving around: do you still care for David even if he treats you as a punching bag?
Woah, that's a lot of answers to read! Many people are saying he's Javier's brother and he's family. However, the main issue that bothers me about David is the fact he's telling every time how much he cares about family and how important it is but let's remember that being brothers work for both sides.
David acts most of time very selfishly and treats his brother, Javi, like shit. If you ask me, that's very low and ungrateful as Javi takes care of their family almost for 4 years. All that said, I feel like David is acting like a hypocrite and even though I sided most of time with him if he doesn't change in episode 5 I would probably leave him if there would be this possibility or even kill him if I have to for self-defence.
If in reality he doesn't care for family so much as he says and don't treat Javi like a brother, why should I do so for all price?

So what?
Brother, mother, son.. what does it matter? If that human is shit, then he/she gets treated like that, regardless of being "family" or not.
If you were stabbed by a person, would your punishment be different for a stranger than for a family member?
Now that we're assuming that Kate is gone, I'm really not sure. I guess it just depends on David's actions in the last episode.

he only treats you as a punching bag if you tried to leave him which also means leaving him in Joan s hands .
if you sided with him mostly then how is he acting selfish with you? Because the fight in episode 4 only happens if you try to leave him.
