But I expect David to get mad either way. Either because of the relationship or, if there is no relationship, because he will find a way to blame Javi for Kate's death (if she died in the explosion).

So I get that Gabe would side with the guy who raised him for 9 years, rather than the guy who raised him for 4, but also Kenny is better than Gabe.
