How to save *****?
How do you save David?
I've got a bunch of alternate saves, including my canon one, however in every one Clem either goes with Kate, or goes with whoever I don't choose, and no matter if I fight David or not, he still ends up dying.
So how is it Clem comes with you on that motorcycle, and how can David actually be saved?

What? I'm just saying it won't matter next season at all so there's no point worrying about it
I mean they bothered giving us at least 7 relationships with 3 characters who are either dead, alive, or missing depending on your choices. Clementine has different personalities by the end and is heading to different places depending on what you chose.
We are clearly headed for some DLC sometime soon, they even said *"Clem's journey will continue..."" Or something even more specific than we've even gotten. Don't be so dismissive I'm sure choices will play out this time after they suffered through their mistakes.
Exactly Clementines story will continue with is conveniently away from Javier and all the determinants so that Telltale don't have to put any effort in.
The only thing that you need to do to save David is go after him and Gabe together with Clementine. However, no one is entirely sure what causes her to agree to go with you. Some people think it might even have to do with past Season choices.
Yeah, it seems that way. If anyone has a "Your Clementine became..." screen where they saved David, it would be awesome if they could upload it here because I think that would explain the reasoning behind it.
Like, my one says "Once David left in the truck with Gabe, Clem knew she needed to look out for the needs of her group first and foremost. She decided to help Kate in sealing the breach in Richmond."
And I think this is because I chose the "community" option, when presetting the story.
I went after Kate so David died, but my Clem decided by herself to go after Gabe and David. She told me to go with Kate, it wasn't a "let's split up" thing, it was really "I'll go after Gabe, you go and help Kate". I think that if I had decided to go with Clem, we would have both gone after Gabe and David and David would have survived. Here's what I got, so maybe that can help you:

I think "determination" is one of the pre-set options, I'll also try accepting Ava's deal to join the New Frontier.
It's just taking me so long to try and make a save where David lives, I've got every other ending so far.
I got "A Graceful Gunslinger", but unlike the picture some others who have gotten that posted, mine says "Once David left in the truck with Gabe, Clem honored her commitment to those loyal to her in choosing to follow her friend Javier's lead".
This is my clem; she decided to go after Gabe (and I chose to go with her), so both Gabe and David lived in my game. Here's the shot.
Did you use the story generator? if so what options did you pick?
I didn't. This came from my imported save. Throughout the previous two games, I did focus a lot on trying to save everyone (eg having Clem save Sarah etc) so maybe this is why she seems to value friendship/the group? If you want me to look at my s1 and s2 choices, I can let you know what they were?
So where exactly is this "your clementine became" card?
At the very end of your Ep 5 choices. Usually Extras > Your choices.
strange, its not there for me, I just have the choices I made and the percentages and thats it

I have no idea if this is correct. A friend send me this info and I think it matches my Clementine. I joined new fronier and injected Aj and Clem followed Javi wherever he went.
bullshit. I have accepted Ava's offer and injected AJ, but Clem decided that helping Richmond is more important than helping Javi chase his brother.
if you take a look to your right hand side, you will see another arrow. I miss it at first look, but then I took a few extra seconds there and I saw there is a second page, but I need to click on the arrow to get to page 2.
What was your season 2 ending?
Hmm I dont remember, it was quite long time ago. Clem went with AJ and Kenny, refusing to abandon him. That's all I know.
are we talking about in extras > your choices? because I'm not seeing the arrow you mean, I can just go back to see each individual choice in the episode , or go back to previous menu/refresh stats
Mine is after the % choices, then the relationship cards and Clem is at the end.
I know some people are having issues with seeing it..
Go to the Episode 5 choices and then try clicking Refresh. That was the only way I could get to them.

I have the Bruised not Broken Clementine. Hopefully that helps. Idk if this matters, but I'll sum up some other choices. I shot Conrad. I rejected Kate. I tried saving Ava. I didn't fight David, I stood with him, and agreed with his plans. I accepted Clint's deal, he died. I killed the doctor. In my ending both Gabe and David are alive.
If you go with Clem to save Gabe first, Clem will save David while you get Gabe.If you go alone to save Gabe first, you wont be able to save David because when you go for Gabe, he will got bit by a walker. Clem will be able to stop it. He will left you no matter what you did, still.
Shoot Conrad and earn her trust so she will come with you
Well, we know for sure that Clem HAS to be there with you in order for David to survive and obviously you need to go after David and Gabe first. Clem can either choose to go to the place you don't pick, or go with Kate, go after Gabe or go wherever you choose. What determines that, is more complicated though.
In my first playthrough, Clem chose to go with Javi, then I replayed the whole season and changed just a few things and she chose to go after Gabe. I always encouraged Clem and Gabe's relationship so I don't think that was a factor. What I did change was the choice of injecting AJ with the medicine and the decision about Lingard. In my first playthrough I did inject AJ and killed Lingard and Clem chose to go with me, on my second one I didn't inject AJ and stayed silent in Lingard's decision and she went after Gabe. So I think that you need to be nice to her and side with her for her to be loyal to you or always approve of her and Gabe when asked about it and I'm pretty sure you'll get either of those outcomes. Don't take my word for it though. It's still a bit confusing...

My Clementine said that she would go wherever I chose to go because I had earned her trust by shooting Conrad when she asked me to

You want to save David you can't be good friends with Clementine or as good then she will go with you but don't think you will like that ending you save David and even if you get him to come back with you he doesn't want nothing to do with you and Kate will die which is part of why he doesn't want nothing to do with you and the other is he doesn't believe you about Kate even if you say no to Kate.
It is all about your friendship with Clementine.
It doesn't matter if you save him cause he will still be off-screen at the end.
