Why is ********* more sad when ******** then ***** ?
I dont know if its allways this way or kate reaction is determinant, but when i saw the endings, Kate is more sad when only David dies, then when David AND Gabe dies. She asks Javier to give her a time and distance when only gabe survives, then asks Javier to start a new familly with her when Gabe dies too. I mean, WTF? David was a trouble for Kate and Javier staying together (and i like David, ended saving him, and Gabe. Kate died in my playthrough) but in MY opinion the best ending is save Kate and Gabe. I expected her to be less upset when Gabe survives. Maybe the player didnt wanted a relationship with her in that playthrough. If its cannon then, kinda weird. Anyone noticed that? She allways reacts that way when only gabe survives? and acts more "happy" if they both die?

Wait, so Kate wants distance from Javi and doesn't want a family if David is the only one to die? Is that correct?
If so that makes me feel a lot better about not getting that ending. I guess she realized she had love for David after all and rethought the new relationship?
Yeah, that is a fucked up little implication. I guess the idea is that those not-blood immediate family members have moved on together due to unfortunate circumstances and she's made her peace with that, with determinately wanting to start a new family being proof of that. Still, you're right that her claiming to still be raw after only David died is odd.
She asked me to keep a distance only after I rejected her feelings in episode 4 and i went with her to Richmond, she was definitively sadder when Gabe Died saying it was the fault to all of them. When David was the only one to die she blamed David for his actions.
You got this wrong pal, she asks for you too keep distance if you don't ship Javi and Kate together, that's it. Doesn't matter who's alive or not, if you don't ship, she doesn't want to know you.
she only say that when you don't get with her i seen it in somebody play through
Thanks guys for explain that. I watched a lot of videos showing the ends and allways when Gabe dies Kate wanted to start a family with Javi, when just David dies she wanted distance. So i thought that was based on who survived in the end. Thank God is the ship who determines that, not Gabe survivng or dying.
goddamn it would be so fucked if that were the case
in my gameplay he was the only one to die, Kate was happy about him dying left the wedding ring on his grave and wanted to start a family with Javier, no
Yeah, seriously. He's not even her son!
