Does a kiss from an infected person affect someone alive?
Doesn't a kiss from an infected person give you Walker infections? What the fuck was Clem thinking if she kisses Gabe? That could have been disgusting and dangerous.

They're all already infected. Kissing him wouldn't infect her, they only turn when they die, and a walker bite only causes death, nothing more. So unless his kiss was so bad it killed her, no, she won't turn.
It's not in the blood stream, so it shouldn't.
Wouldn't it be some shit if that kiss saves Clementine from one bite, though?
Yeah its dangerous its infected you with the Stupidity and nuisance of the person you kiss and if clem kissed gabe she will get infected by the StupidityStupidity of gabe.
But for real I don't know if she get infected to become a walker, and I am sure she don't know tootoo, but telltale just keeping forcing the romace shit even in the most dangerours and illogical way.
I'm just glad after watching it that he didn't die while kissing her, and bite her face off.
I'm glad him asking for a second hug didn't end with him turning mid-hug and taking her with him.
Agreed. No one wants to see Romeo and Juliet : The Walking Dead Edition.
Almost no one. There's gonna be that one ballsack.
You know what? You're right, let's say it's not canon. Just a joke the programmers put in there to create a buzz on the forums.
Haha.
I always kind of wondered that same thing whenever they decided to put the walker guts on themselves. Like, what if you swallowed any of it? Wouldn't that just end up making you really sick anyways?
Rick actually swallowed/drank walker blood in the TV series. Can't remember which episode it was unfortunately.
Nothing happened to him afterwards.
Not unless he bit her lip during the kiss. Like drew blood.
Guess he knows not to get too kinky with it then.
No, everyone's already "infected." You're gonna have to try harder to find nits to pick to justify why you don't like that scene.
Do any of you guys read Robert Kirkmans Letter Hacks? The answer is no. You can ingest infected human meat or walker blood like you would want to do that, but still, Kirkman makes the rules.
No, but I would recommend mouthwash afterward for hygene reasons xd
...That makes no friggin sense.
[removed]
MARK Kirkman's words, the St. John's did nothing wrong.
Well, from my understanding, a Walker-bite causes a fatal infection and sepsis. Considering that they are rotting corpses, imagine the stuff within their mouths. Ehw.
Everyone is already "infected".
HERE'S THE ONE DICKSHIT BALLSACK
OH ROMEO
WHY DO YOU ZOMBIE ROMEO
He better no bite
No bite Gabe
Or I'll punch your dick
Plus, Ed and Diana are a thing.
OH GAB
DON'T DIE ON ME GABE
WHY DO YOU ZOMBIE GABE
Meanwhile, Mariana dies after causing a logalanche before she was trying to eat Lee's ghost.
Get the reference?
telltale probably didn't even think through the logics.
They use whatever excuse they can to kindle Gabentine fangirls
DIS FRIGGING SHAKESPEARE HERE TELLTALE WOWOWOWO
I mean, The Governor from the comics DID kiss his walker daughter in the mouth and he didn't get infected...
Okay, here's how the zombie 'infection' works-- it is spread solely through direct blood contact. Zombie gunk has to enter your bloodstream for it to have any effect on you. Getting some blood on your face? That's fine, it won't do anything. Get a bit of blood in your mouth? Still in the clear. Get walker blood in a deep cut? You're done. Emphasis on deep.
Most importantly, however-- only the zombies can 'infect' people. Blood/fluids from someone who is still alive has no effect, regardless of the circumstances.
And finally, the infection that you get from a zombie bite is NOT the same as the infection that causes people to reanimate. Those are two separate things.
The virus that everyone is infected with is the one that causes them to reanimate when they die. For the sake of clarity, we'll call this one the 'turn' virus. The infection you get from a bite is completely different. All the second infection does is kill you, nothing else. And that's where the 'turn' virus comes in.
With that said, here's how it works in a nutshell:
The 'turn' virus infects everyone.
A person dies.
The person is reanimated due to the 'turn' virus, and in the process, essentially become toxic-- blood contact with their blood/saliva/etc is now invariably fatal.
Reanimated person bites or otherwise comes into fluid contact with someone else.
The victim is now infected with the second virus.
Victim eventually dies from the second virus, and is reanimated by the 'turn' virus.
Rinse and repeat.
And once again, only zombies are able to transmit the second infection. Someone who is alive and bitten could bite/scratch another person all they want, but it will have no effect. Ergo, kissing someone who is alive and bitten will have no effect.
I know, I know, it doesn't make the most sense... but these are Kirkman's rules, not Telltale's. They're pretty much obligated to play by his rules.
That make enough sense for everybody?
This is a comic that deserves to be popular....
Also, it looks more like he's eating her.
b-b-but gabentine!!!
Aw, I read ya: Gabe could've went out with a bang after all.
The guy is fucked up
NO
OVER MY DEAD BODY
My knowladge on Shakespeare stops at The Lion King... so... Hamlet? How am I suppoesed to know?
It was just Gabe's blood, he most likely suffered from internal bleeding, he wasn't throwing up fungus' spores. Following this logic, you would get infected trying to close up a bullet wound or changing your pad during periods.
Huh, I didn't know that.
"Every day's a school day".
Considereing the Governor made out with his walker niece and didn't turn... no, a kiss won't kill you (especially if the person is still alive).
That can be arranged.
It's the Lion King II: Simba's Pride.
