Most tragic character in ANF
Who do you think was the most tragic character in ANF. I personally think David was the most tragic, especially if he died.

Eh, I don't consider David tragic because a lot of stuff that happened to him could have been prevented had he not been a neglectful jerk and abusive husband.
Kate has it pretty bad, as much as I dislike her. Her abusive husband is gone and shes stuck with his kids. The only man around her is his brother, so thats a guilt trippy situation (not like she cares).
But in terms of full blown tragic....that's hard to say...Lingard I guess? Lost his lover and just gets high....Conrad? Loses Francine and potentially Tripp and all of Prescott.
Though thinkin about it, Clem being separated from AJ is pretty tragic. This season didn't have anything super tragic like Sarah in season 2 or that bitten girl in season 1 imho.
I remember there being a thread like this a few weeks ago.
Dr. Lingard was my original answer, but Gabe applies even more, unfortunately.
It's gotta be Lingard.
I feel like the game really skips past the fact that Tripp lost his entire community in an instant yet still remains strong for the people around him. It reminds me of s1 Kenny who loses everything but realizes he would keep losing just to help his friends.
Edit: I would have said David in an instant, but yeah s a lot of stuff that happened was his own fault. His death in my game was still very tragic, he is more of a s2 Kenny.
It was mine. :P I'm looking at this like why wasn't I notified of new comments??? Lol. mine was season specific tho it was comprehensive.
Gabe's a lil jerk a lot of the time but any way you play it he loses one or more of his parent figures. His father can die by his actions, or abandons him, or refuses to communicate with him. Kate dies without Gabe ever having shown much appreciation for her. Gabe can also does, so he is really unlucky and I can't help but feel sorry for him.
I feel like the game really skips past Tripp doing/being anything in general.
