the luke and rebecca reaction was mostly recycled for just sarah, so it hardly counts
and I don't remember clem caring very much, as I posted before she sounds very monotone when she says goodbye to him
that's because lilly and glenn both had commit to future roles in the comic (until lilly got retconned) and molly and mike were originally supposed to die, and molly is still possibly able to
I don't get why death has to be the only solution to getting rid of characters these days.
Like, in season 1 it was no huge deal at least… more. Lilly, Glenn and Molly all depart and in season 2 Arvo and Mike runs away with Bonnie if she's alive.
Tripp and Ava could have still fallen, but instead of just dying they'd be fine but in a situation that just seperates them from the main crew. Out of the narrative but not entirely wasted either, they could still turn up in the end like Lindgard does.
and Sarah had fuck all in characterization, wasn't a outlier in the group, and spent an increasing amount of her screentime trying to get into Carlos's pants.
what the fuck am I reading? you've made some major blunders, but this...
wow.
That was literally the only good thing about it.
Yeah, seriously. Not gonna lie: Tripp was fuckin' done before the game even came ou… moret in my book.
Honestly, if it wasn't that brilliant twist, 'Tripp or Ava' would've been like 'Sarah or Jane' except if the choice actually mattered, Jane was a better written and [far more[ sympathetic(in both senses of the word) character, and Sarah had fuck all in characterization, wasn't a outlier in the group, and spent an increasing amount of her screentime trying to get into Carlos's pants.
Except nowhere near as funny or interesting.
But the impact of it was just pure bullshit.
Even sparing Max or not and/or choosing to run away or going to the house was more impactful for me.
Yeah, I just decided to not give shit in part because I saw the original choicelist in advance and it goes by so fast anyway. They clearly didn't care about most of the non-Clementine/Garcia stuff, … [view original content]

The writers seemed to have put more thought into how Tripp would go out, and so it leaves me wondering why they didn't show that courtesy to her character.
Yeah, I really didn't get logic from that either. But I guess Tripp was more "important" to the plot, with all of his influence.
Ava's death was comically bad. I knew she was going to die at some point going into the episode, but I was actually startled by how quickly … morethey moved past it - to the point where I actually started laughing everytime I thought back to it. I didn't particularly care for Ava as a character, but it left a bad taste in my mouth that they really just tried to get her out of the way as fast as possible. Wish there was a special trophy for keeping him alive until the end, like the one guy said
"black dude dies last" or something
all the telltale games having boring as shit trophies, except for 400 days
Luke's is in the trailer itself, though. And at the very least, she seems slightly saddened when she realizes it's him and can say sorry before putting him down.

Well, a few people have compared Ava to Jane and I know a lot of us notice that Tripp is yet another Kenny-clone, but for the sake of the comparison, I used the closest thing Clementine had to a [proper] Kenny-type character Sarah, who really was pitted in a [overly biased] choice with Jane. And Carlos being a doctor just made the comparison that much more easy.

It's to help get the point across, buddy. Not sure how that's blunder.

if not making any sense at all is getting the point across, sure.
