Okay guys, but was that actually water? Where Ava falls it looks like concrete. Same goes for Tripp.
Even if he wasn't paralyzed/killed when he hit his back (which he was), he would have been knocked out the second he hit the water from that height. Not to mention the walkers that were on top of him.

Don't know why Telltale would give them fake deaths just to bring them back. They've been so determined to kill the off in episode 4 and 5. I doubt that speaks well of their chances. They're determinant.
As for that water. I think it was a development mistake. Water being under the highway doesn't make much sense in that scene.

For one counterpoint, Kenny never really struck me as being a big guy. Especially in Season 1, where I swear he seemed to be shorter than many characters who weren't meant to explicitly short.
He has a big coat in season 2.

Don't bother trying to convince people Ava/Tripp are alive. It's the "Kate 100% died in that truck" situation all over again. People survive the highly unlikely to impossible situations in this series.

I think it's because the players prospective is Clementine in season 2. And Clementine is tiny.

It was kind of surprise that there are characters that can die in early chapter to survive all the way through. It's the first for Telltale Games with this type of gameplay to do that. Which probably means that both Conrad and Tripp will not appear much in the sequels.

Not really. I mean, she was short enough to be the 3rd shortest character in that Season, but she's still tall enough to motorboat Jane and come up to Sarah's shoulder at least.

The reality is they are both determinant which means they are fucked no matter what. Even if they are alive they will inevitably be ruined through poor writing,killed off or simply forgotten.
