It's two episodes tonight (a 2 hour premiere) with the second half being called "The New Frontier."
Caught my attention immediately, and while doubtful, am curious if it means anything.
I'm looking forward to the show coming back! Hopefully Alex returns and Alicia doesn't get killed off.
Damn, I had absolutely no idea it was coming back tonight, show's how little I care, which is odd considering how TWD is one of my favorite franchises.
I fucking hope that gay ass fucking shit hole of a show burns for it sins. That show is a disgrace to humanity. I love THE WALKING DEAD it is my life and I love it dearly but THIS pile of shit is well shit.still gonna watch it though because this is apparently the last season.
The thing about keeping dead bodies around so the walkers wouldn't come around seemed all right to me.
What's fear the walking dead again?
Reminder that this season of Fear The Walking Dead has identical plot points and foundations to those of A New Frontier.
Details thread, page 251, bottom.
For anyone else reading this I might spoil the episode in my next comment (Be warned)
Is this 'ranch' the McCarroll ranch?
creativity!!!!!
They just textbook Omided Travis-- Major character from previous season(s) gets an unceremonious death at the very beginning of an episode before the title screen. And what a sucky way to go out, as well-- pierced by a bullet that went up through his stomach, and out his damn neck.
And you know what? Part of me gives them serious props for offing a main character like that. I can't even remember the last time the parent show did that, if ever.
Still though, can't help but feel like it was kind of a waste.
You know, I thought they didn't have the guts to kill off such a major character, but dang they just proved me wrong.
Okay but, to be completely honest though, they probably killed him off for shock value and I had no idea what was going on until he heckin' fell off the helicopter.
They fucking Kenny'd Travis. They fucking did it. I'm fucking pissed, he was my favorite. Why couldn't have it been Madison?
Ok well it was ok I guess. It was better than season 2 that's for sure. I just can't believe they actually killed Travis. Now that doesn't mean I still really don't know what the hell is happening right now with anything and all because what there 2 months in and they already know how to be survival expert's? The only one I really like is Nick. I liked Travis but he's gone. I also like strand I think he's my second favorite. But by the looks of it I do think this is going to be the last season.
IMDB has a season four listed.
Is this show worth watching now?
I stopped a few episodes into the first season because the writers were terrible at trying to create a mystery around something the viewers know is happening (the zombie outbreak). Honestly I found it painful to watch at how ineptly they handled it.
The actors were all doing a decent job but had rubbish to work with.
I won't tell you it is the exact same location, but they definitely mirror each other; and I can't say both parties agreed to it.
Why does this franchise kill charecters that have hope to #not# suck but those like Madison must stay alive on our throats
Significantly better start than Season 2... but then, that was true of TWD's Season 3 as well before it went to shit. Speaking of which, we had some heroes get imprisoned and faced with death by a dude who pretends to be nice while having his men kill people, some kind of studying being done on zombies (although it's not legitimate study this time around), and the fake-nice dude getting his eye damaged and then making perfect headshots while wearing a bandage over his eye. Oh, and in FTWD's Season 2, we had a farm that believed in not killing zombies and protecting them. To be fair, these are mostly superficial similarities and FTWD's had way bigger problems than reusing some concepts, but it's still amusing to see direct allusions to the main show.
But yeah, I think it's off to a decent start. Of course, we're back on a friggin' farm again, so I can only hope they're able to keep some momentum going.
