What happened to Kenny's hat?
Was this ever brought up in EP5 since telltale confirmed it would be?. I haven't been able find anything in regards to Kenny's hat.

I don't think they confirmed it would be. People just assumed when a staff member said "I promise that we haven't forgotten the hat!"
Maybe we'll find out in the future DLC/Season 4.
I sure as shit hope we'll find AJ wearing Kenny's hat when we see him at the ranch.
Well I think they did since they certainly didn't have it in EP5 and I don't see how they'll have it in Clementines story.
If they were to implement Kenny's hat again I imagine it would be when and if Clem and AJ reunite. Something like "And look what I've got for you!" or something similar to when Lee gave Clem her hat back.

I saw someone say that his hat is part of the memorial at the end of episode 5. Can anyone confirm or debunk this?

Why would Clem even leave it there? For one, Kenny wanted the hat to be given to AJ. Secondly, Kenny didn't even die in Richmond.
She's planning on coming back someday.
But why would she leave the hat there anyways? It makes no sense.
Forgot about it? Either way, she wasn't exactly going on a camping trip.
If she was she would have brought her juice box which she did not this time.
