What determines if Clem shoots David or holds gun on his head?

I read that Clementine does it based on if she shot Kenny or not. But I just saw a gameplay where Clem didn't shoot Kenny in S2 (Jane died), but she still shot David in the shoulder. This shouldn't happen, right? So something else must determine this. What is it?

  • holds gun on his head?

Do you know what video that is?

  • From the several playthroughs I've watched and played it seems to depend on who you ended s2 with. Kenny tends to cause her to threaten with the gun. While the jane ending tends to have her shoot David. Atleast, that's the pattern I've noticed.

  • If it's due to the ending of Season 2, I'd be a little salty about that, the endings barely have an effect on Clementine's personality and now they dictate one of her actions???

  • I think it has to do with the flashbacks, not sure what to do though.

Look at 1:17:56. There you can see Clementine shoots him. Though Clem has a scar on her forehead, which means she didn't shoot Kenny.
