Part of me wants this, but I don't know how good of an idea it would be.
I would be very interested in seeing a DLC that shows how other parts of the world are affected by the outbreak, in a 400 Days format. I would be interested in seeing the apocalypse beyond the United States, maybe in London or India. What would you guys think of this?
Also if this was covered in the comics, let me know.

Or you know...
Instead of random locations in the world have the actual characters from the previous game(s) that survived and are just wandering off...
I'm still wondering if anyone is still at that "Gil's Pit stop".
For the most part the point where they are now in the series (roughly close to four years into the apocalypse) most of the people still living have likely found their way into larger communities set in towns. There might be a few stragglers left around but likely not many.
400 Days all mostly took place within the first year of the Appocalypse.
Everyone should READ World War Z. IT looks at the ZA in a global perspective. It is probably the best zombie fiction I have ever read. It is nothing like the movie. Actually I listened to the audiobook. But if you want stories about London and India it covers both with awesome storytelling, and is literally just the tip of the iceberg. Please check it out. I beg of you all. Also there was one issue of a comic that starred Rick's brother and took place in spain. I can't remember what it was called but it was free so I printed it out like last year it came out I think it is canon.
This sort of thing is another reason why I feel the Russian Group were wasted characters in.
Gil's Pit Stop was mostly abandoned (aside from the crazy thief) when Omid, Christa and Clementine stopped by to use the facilities in the opening of S2. Unless somebody else moved in, I highly doubt it.
