Allowing Walt to indirectly kill Nick - Right or Wrong?

Comments

  • It depends on how you think really. I mean Nick did kill a guy for no reason the way I see it's a eye for a eye.

  • It's wrong to me for two reasons:

    1. Nick is actually a pretty good guy, just scared. He just worried about his friend. He truly regrets shooting Matthew and wants to tell Walt immediately, showing he is a decent person.
    2. It allows Walter to succumb to his base instincts like everyone else before he dies. I loved Walters character and him forgiving Nick is much more powerful than the petty revenge.
  • I've lost patience for Ben version x.0 over the years.
They should just stop introducing those characters. Nobody likes them, and if you're going to make us hate them you better let us kill them.

  • Lots of people like both Ben and Nick.

  • So true.

  • I'm generally wary of people who let (or just really want to) others die in this game without a just cause. So yeah, letting Walt kill Nick is a big no-no.

  • I guess you're technically correct about Ben...Clementine did like him....even after he left her for walker bait at the start of Episode 4. OH! Oberson liked Ben too. He practically clung to him!

Nick, I liked the Nick character, and thought he could've been fleshed out MUCH better. So much potential for developing his character. All gone to waste as a determinant character post E2, and his 5 minutes of screen time in E3.

Lots of people like both Ben and Nick.

  • Wrong.

Although the fact that you have to say Nick is a good guy to both convince Walter and have Nick own up to what he did is an early example of how bidimensional Season 2's major choices tended to be.
