Something that bugs me about ANF - Minor Spoilers

Something that bugs me about ANF is that Javi, Kate, and the kids spent 4 years on the road in the van yet never really left the area. I wasn't able to find Prescott Airfield on any maps, maybe my google-fu is weak or maybe it's a fictional airfield that TellTale invented, but it's roughly a 2.5 hour drive from Baltimore to Richmond, and Prescott was fairly close to Richmond which means Javi and Kate never really left the area. Why? Maybe it's just me, but if you were on the road 24/7 wouldn't you travel to other areas of the country or world? Drive up to Canada where the colder weather would slow down the walkers, for instance. Or drive out west? Or anywhere, really, besides staying around large population centers that would be heavily infested with dead, increasing your chances of getting surrounded and killed.

  • I just thought of them as living in the van. not necessarily on the move all the time.

    That...doesn't really make sense.

  • What doesn't? That it bugs me or that they never left the area?

  • That they never left the area. I was under the impression that they'd traveled across several states, although I suppose Kate's herd tracking system would require them to circle at least twice.
