I only chose Wellington because it was a main plot device in S2. For nearly the whole season Clem, Christa, and Kenny talked about going to … moreWellington and not to mention how many people died trying to get there.
Just abandoning it completely for the Jane ending was so stupid. Why on Earth would I go back to Howe's after the shit that went down in there?
His death should've been handledd better, but I'm glad that he won't be in future seasons. The writing staff made season 2 all about him, when they had characters that they could've developed way more.
Yeah, even now after this whole season's over, I'm still pissed over how he was killed off. Kenny was, in my view, the best character in the entire series, one with flaws and even greater strengths, and to write him out as though he was nothing more than a second rate background character was ridiculous. The writers may have redeemed themselves slightly with the final flashback, which was by all accounts, the only scene in ANF that had any emotional weight, but it still doesn't justify what a joke that initial flashback was. I mean, Kenny, someone who'd gone through so much and had been with us since the beginning, dies in a fucking car crash that doesn't even make sense...It's utter crap.
Hopefully, though, if the series does continue (which is looking very likely), we'll be introduced to a character that could potentially leave even half as much impact as Kenny did. Granted, it is unlikely.
That fact they killed the best non-playable character they ever created like that showed me they have no respect for their fans. Kenny dying because he didn't put on a fucking seat belt on is just laughably stupid.
Man, this comes across as very spoiled. They brought back your favorite character against all of the logic of his final scene in S1, made him the central focus of the entirety of S2, and now you're saying that they don't care about fans because they didn't treat him better than every character again?!

Yes. Because despite Kenny's S1 fate, TT did bring him back in S2, gave him an actual development, gave him the purpose and highlighted his transformation, and most importantly made him one of the most important people in the series, hence the multiple endings. Kenny has become the most developed NPC with the actual backstory and personality, we've seen him change throughout the series, which makes him the most fleshed out and realistic person.
It's just a shame he was tossed in the trash as soon as "new blood" became top priority, TT's missed such an opportunity to continue his story or at least write him a proper ending; yes, Kenny might be annoying, labeled as reckless, idiotic and screentime-thief, but he was by our side from the very beginning and for me he is the icon of TWD, along with Clementine and Lee.

Couldn't have said it better myself... Also, wHay if you see a Kenny walker if you whit him in season 2. That'd be pretty cool. And hopefully they listen to this one guy on the forums who had a better way of Iane and Lenny living than I could think of. Clementine just had a nightmare about losing her friends, because almost everyone she loves dies. I can imagine Clementine and Kenny being separated by a wolf attack, and Jane just straight-up ditches Clem.

They handled it badly , but i hope they'll make something awesome if you separate after wellington ,
I hope kenny would eventually come back in wellington to see that it's ruins , and will try to find clementine
knowing she's no longer safe .
Look remember that flashback where you have to pick stuff in a hurry , imagine you forget to pick the hat .
he found it and puts it back .Now that'd be awesome

That would be level-A-awesome, but also impossible, because TT proved they don't quite care about Wellington and Kenny's hat.

Fair enough. Sorry if I was rude in my reply. Sometimes I get carried away when it comes to talking about Kenny, as he is a character that frustrates me. Season 3 was not a good continuation in any way. There was a lot to work with, and there have been plenty of games that have handled branches like that well, but they chose to do nothing with it. I wouldn't have enjoyed more time with Kenny, but I wouldn't have had to if things were done properly, and fans like you could've also gotten what they wanted.

No matter what, Kenny always gave his best and determinantely his life for Clementine and the people he cared about.
Ben? Gave his life (… morepresumably) to redeem himself.
Christa? Gave his life (presumably) to save her life.
S2 Alone ending? He realized he can be dangerous, and stays back willingly, without discussion, sacrificing himself in a way.
Stay at Wellington? He begs for Clem to stay, and if he succeeds determinantely, he's all alone and sacrificed himself in a way.
Stay with Kenny? He will give his life to save Clementine and AJ. Although terrible because short, it was still in-character.
There are countless small examples showing his loyalty.
If you ask me what TTG's TWD is? It's Lee, Kenny and Clementine. And there is only one of those three left standing. And I hope it stays that way for a long time.
Well she is. I don't mind people who don't like Kenny providing they also acknowledge the good things about him. She on the other hand is bloody horrible about him 100% of the time which to me is unfair. Plus conversations go nowhere with her due to being filled with hate lol
I was originally positively neutral on the old cur, but it slowly developed over time when I realized that a lot of the disappointment that came from Season 2 often had him attached, especially given that other characters tended to get the shaft, be needlessly vilified in favor of making him look, or some other combination of issues. Well that and the fact that he's really overexposed and often caused numerous amounts of arguments that got old and hard to wade through after a while.
The fact that Telltale can't seem to let go of him is also a factor.

I get your point but needless climax was going to happen throughout any episode of TWD no matter Kenny or not, otherwise it would be pretty boring eventually. I always thought of Kenny being the "lesson" of s2 just as family was the lesson of s3, as all in the end of s2 it came to who you believed was the true good character, too listen to the others and believe Ken was a monster or stick with him to see he truly was not, which is why it had Kenny hog some of the spot light.

In the S2, if you don't kill kenny and go to wellington, you can leave him and stay in Wellington. if you leave him he goes with supplies.
… more In ANF if you load the Save of S2, Kenny Doesn't appears in any flashback. It could be said "Kenny is alive" (Sorry for my bad english)
I miss him too. No matter what anyone says, Kenny is by far one of the best characters in TWD game.
On the bright side, heres some good vids of our holy lord and savior

...Yes?
Yeah, seriously. I kinda get what they were probably going for, but idk. The associated flashback more or less had Jane realize that a while ago.
Calm your jets Rambo.
I really wish Bonnie came back. She seemed to genuinely care for Clementine.

Eh, depending on your choices, that may no longer be the case.
I've been meaning to write a fanfic delving into Kenny's fate after the Wellington ending. Maybe one day.
?

I'm not saying he had to be the focus again, just give him a good ending if your Clem ended up with him.

Reminds me of some jackass writing up something about there being a gunshot once the Wellington doors close.

Actually pretty decent, but I don't know if it is comparable to that one with Paarthunax.
Poor people who had the unluck to take the call XD
Is this what being stabbed in the back feels like
