I wonder if we all made the same decision in Episode 2 which isn't saving correctly. If that is the case then they should be able to add that decision back into the data in cases with that one decision missing.
Literally Just finished playing both season 1 and season 2 over the last 3 days. 5 minutes after completing S2 I launched S3, created my TT account and then tried to upload only to get incomplete save. I think the issue is with the upload system. Honestly why they did not simply link your steam account with your TT is beyond me, but even so I should not have to sit here for hours reading forums and emailing tech support just to get the MOST IMPORTANT feature of the game to WORK. This is a massive headache and a massive failure on TT's part.
This is freaking ridiculous! I've went out of my way to pay season 1 and 2 for PS4 thinking that I wouldn't have this damn problem uploading any of my saves, and look what happened, I sadly can't import a damn thing! This is emotionally draining, I tried over and over again. Even download all of it to my cloud and absolutely nothing happened. I'm starting to think thus is why they put in the recreate your damn story mode. Disgusting!!!!
Well this sucks and is asinine. My TWD1 -> TWD2 save file is complete except for 4 choices on last chapter and replayed it several times to no avail.
This is really disappointing. Welp... guess I won't be playing A New Frontier anytime soon. Absolutely asinine it won't even accept incomplete saves and let you rebuild/plug in the stuff their system botched.
Well, literally figured out what happened.
Basically, if the game gets glitched (let's say you exit during a critical choice or it isn't captured) what the game does is shift all subsequent/following choices under the previous chapter or wherever there was a gap. It appeared I had all critical choices through episode 5, but that wasn't the case. Somehow one wasn't captured back at episode 3, and so some of the E4 choices appeared under 3, E5 under 4, and so on. Had to go ALL the way back to Episode 3, then double check all choices were properly captured for the corresponding episode. After that playthrough, everything now is working.

Still not fixed, reupload shows "Incomplete Save". Bad developer!
