Carl/Lydia/Sophia/Clementine (don't read if you don't want comic spoilers)
Since there is the possibility that Clementine will be brought into the comics someday I think it might be an interesting topic to discuss how Clementine would fit in with the main cast of young characters from the comic.
Clementine is about the same age as both Carl and Sophia while Lydia is 16. All three of them have been through more than Clementine has during the apocalypse however they have been living within the communities for awhile now (Lydia only a few months though). Though they just went through an attack by the Whisperers where the Hilltop was destroyed.
Clementine would fit in with them well. I think there could be room to have her interact with Sophia. Sophia isn't getting much screen time lately (well for like the last forty issues) because a little romance is being developed between Carl and Lydia. Having Sophia and Clem become friends would be a good way to give Sophia some screen time and have Clem fit into the comic in a believable way. Sophia is currently mainly watching over Maggie's baby and he would be about the same age as AJ so the two of them would have that in common as well.
Anyways though I doubt Clem would ever be more than a background character if she were brought into the comic it is fun to speculate how she would fit in if she were brought in as more than someone strictly in the background.

i think Sophia could fit for a possible Comic appearance in a later season since she s not being involved in the main plot of the comic currently so yeah i think they could have her have a guest appearance for an episode like with Glenn in season 1 s first episode.
That would actually be something that could work out pretty good. Right now Sophia is mostly just being a babysitter to Maggie's baby and staying within the confines of the community. So they would have to come up with a good and believable reason of why Sophia is traveling around but it is something that could definitely work out.
I hope this happens as well. If Clem was ever brought to the comics, I doubt she'll be a background character considering how popular she is and she's a main character in TWD franchise.
It does seem like it is more likely to happen than it was a few years ago as it appears Kirkman is more open to the idea of bringing in characters like Clem into the stuff he works on.
In a recent interview within the past few months somebody asked him that question and he said it is something they have discussed and though there aren't any immediate plans right now he does think it is a cool idea but they would have to align things up right in order for it to happen.
It probably wouldn't be anything that would happen for several more years as TellTale likely wants to do at least one more full game with her.
Sophia could bump into Clem on the road on the way to finding AJ. Remember this is stilll within the two year timeskip. The game is about one year behind.
I don't what to grab a idea from the show. But what if during the two year timeskip at some point Sophia runsaway to try to find Alexandria to visit Carl and gets lost in the storm in the winter. Sophia, who is about 12 , will bump into Clem in the storm.
Sophia is hesitated to approach Clem, so she hides in a bush. She fears that Clem is part of the Savior because of her leather jacket and short rocker hair.
Clem making a fire, notices that there is a backpack sticking out of the bush and pulls out her gun and yells
Clem: out or ill shoot!
(hands up)
Sophia: I'm not here to hurt you. I just saw the fire. I'm cold.
(Gun still raised)
Clem: How many are you?
(Sophia with a nervous smile on her face hands still up)
Sophia: I don't know.......two......hundred.
(Clem frustrated and clinches her gun harder)
Clem: Stop playing games!
A small herd of walkers appear after Clem shouts at Sophia. Sophia dodges the first walker. Clem pulls out her gun and notices that their is about 30 walkers coming in all direction but isn't sure of the true numbers because of the snow.
(Clem now alarmed)
Clem: Alright, call in that so call two hundred people. I'm waiting.
Sophia: Oh, those people. I lied. You Saviors are sure dumber than I thought.
They manage to escape. Just as Clem and Sophia are about to part ways, Clem notices that Sophia twist her ankle and needs assistance to walk. Clem and Sophia make their way to Alexandria in two days. During those two days they have a whole bunch of dialogue Flashback on past events from the walking comic and game. And we get to hear of the events of all out war from Sophia perspective.
Clem would be better and better written in the comics IMO and would make the comics much more money. If clem were to appear in the Comics i think she would have a very good Friendship with Sophia like in a Sister to Sister type of friendship.
It would be a good way to get some extra readers interested. The comic sells really well already so it's not like it needs to be concerned about that stuff but it would be a good way to get people who strictly just play the games interested in the comic as well.
I can see them MAYBE doing a S5 if S4 does well. If not, then Kirkman will just write her in the comics.
The best part is Kirkman's company, Skybound, has the rights to anything Walking Dead related, Telltale game included. So we don't have to worry about Telltale keeping the rights to Clementine.
And that would probably be one of the better ways of closing out her character in the video game series. Instead of being forced to kill her off, or give her a you fill in the blank ride off into the sunset ending, they could end the video game series just by bringing her to Alexandria or one of the other communities, and she could continue her story there in the comics.
That very well maybe what they are planning on doing. TellTale is going to continue to make games with her as long as they wish and when they are done they are going to bring her into the comics. That may have been why they had season 3 take place in the same general area as the comics because they are setting it up for that to happen.
Carl is 13, Lydia is 16, they had sex...
Yeah Lydia is 16 and there is no disputing that as she officially states it in the comic. Carl and Sophia's age can be debated a bit though to a point as there is nothing in the comic that gives them an official age currently. We do know that Sophia is slightly older than Carl as in the very first issues of the comic they did officially say that she was 8 while he was 7 (pay absolutely no attention to what the wiki says their ages are as according to that site Sophia started out the comic being older than Carl but is now younger).
It's up in the air as far as how much time has passed and what Carl and Sophia's ages are as of issue 168 (Kirkman has debunked the two year time skip and has said it was slightly longer than that).
My opinion is that a little over five years has passed during the apocalypse and that they are both 13 (with Carl recently turning 13 and Sophia being close to 14).
