I still can't believe there's no chapter select for ANF

Like, you don't add it to the crappy Michonne mini-DLC. Okay, fine. Whatever.
But a full-fledged season? One that has been hyped up by not just the fans, but the company itself?
It baffles me, like are you kidding? Surely it couldn't have been that much effort to implement the feature again.

I can tell you, there aren't enough good scenes to make me want to replay whole episodes to see them. But hell, I actually find myself going back to watch more ANF scenes on youtube than I did with season two, so that tells you something.
It really needs to be added in a patch or something.

  • You also can't rewind episodes either. It sucks.

  • Isn't that the same thing?...

  • Whoops, I mistaken chapter for episodes. Nevermind!

  • I wish they would patch it in, but it's unlikely. I feel like they wanted us to re experience the entire episode so we would stick with out desicions, but that's not how everyone likes playing the games.

  • "Not a lot of players used it"

How the fuck do you even know that, Telltale? Who the fuck cares about the numbers? Rewind Feature was always a useful thing.

  • Why? Because ANF is shit that's why.

  • Yup, always sad to see a company going backwards with each installment.

  • TAKE THAT BACK, Michonne Mini-Series was far better than ANF!

  • I would consider replaying ANF if there was a rewind option. Too bad the game is bad and rewind doesn't exist anymore.

  • True that!

It even had a cool intro and shit plus it was a good graphics engine too.

  • That's how I like to play them the first time.

When complete I like to go back and experience favourite scenes again. I must have watched Clementine's reunion with Kenny in Season 2 so many times by now that the game must be getting fed-up of showing it to me.

I like to go back to critical points and pick a different option just to see how the game would have played out if I'd made a different choice.

With A New Frontier I'd love to go back and see Javier talking with Jesus at the end but I'll be damned if I'm playing the entire episode again.

  • I imagine that the game reports such things back to them along with the data on our choices.

Don't understand why it was removed though, was the feature really that hard to put into the new engine?

the intro was cringe-tastic, you kidding me? so unfitting for the tone of a zombie apocalypse, my god who approved that shit.
the graphics were more or less the same as season 2. Like what, michonne's hair moved a bit? So what.

It had its own fucking menu at least (a good one, might I add) - so at least some effort was put into it.

  • I'm upset about this aswell :(

  • The menu.

  • That is clearly the thing which pissed me off the most during the game, specially when pre-sentences choices gave poor hint, then you reply the opposite that you would

  • No I'm not kidding you.

The intro was good and even if you didn't like that one, they should still have done one for S3 just to get you in the mood for it you know.

  • Each Telltale game, starting with Batman, features the same main menu design.

  • I remember one the devs saying that he wanted the choices in this game to make players angry, so it makes sense that they wouldn't want players to rewind to a more optimal choice.

Unfortunately for them, I don't think that decision created the type of anger they were aiming for.
