Were the ANF episodes shorter than normal?
I kinda felt i would get a good 2.5hours out of each episode but now they were done in less that 90minutes. anyone else notice this?

Better shorter episodes than longer and maybe worse
I think they are mostly cinematic dialogues in the ANF, usually you have to figure something out to solve somethings in each episode for example at s1 you should fix the train and etc, there were..some, in the ANF but doesn't take long to finish.
You got to spend more time bullshitting with people in S1 and 2 I think. so it was longer and got more character development.
Its so they don't have to spend as much money on the game.

Yes they are getting considerably shorter. S1E4 is longer than ANF E1&2 combined. They are about 75-80 minutes long now. S1 average was 120+ mins, S2 average was about 90-100 minutes. So yes, considerably shorter (however, still the same price...).
Yes they are. S1's average episode length was nearly 2 hours, S2 was 1 hour and 45 minutes, and NF was only an hour and 15.
If you look at most YouTubers playthrough of each season, for example Uberhaxornova's, he had 10 videos dedicated to playing Ep.2 of S1 with a playtime of 15 minutes each video. Now when you look at his playthrough of NF, it's only 3 videos per episode with a playtime of 25 minutes each video.
I would agree with you, but most of the episodes of ANF are awful and short

Have you even played ANF? There's less quantity AND less quality.
I wonder how long Season 4 length for each episode will be:
40 minutes each or half hour.
But them being longer could have made them much better, as it leaves more room for gameplay and character development.

Season 2 had mistakes too, I gave them chances and look at all the shit ANF has. It's been in development for 2 years, so I cannot forgive them. Fuck Telltale.
I played TWD S1 for once and it took 13 hours
I played TWD S2 for once and it took 13 hours as well.
I played ANF twice and also one more until episode 3 and it took 14 hours.

Someone told me that walking dead is developed less than a year, and has done some other games before ANF. There are a lot of tensions going on and they should've waited for a while,
I think they created ANF as just something unimportant and not on their priority list
Wait for 45-minute episodes in Season 4. I would not be surprised.
In addition to curing, the ANF episodes are extremely straightforward, as if it were an episode of Transformers.
With more season, the devs must have said with respect to the time of production of the game.
