What should s4 NOT have?

we always talk about what season 4 SHOULD have, but we never talk about what it shouldn't have.

for me, season 4 SHOULDN'T have a cheesy ending that we're all expecting (a character death doesn't always have to be the thriller of the episode -.-). TT needs to think of a REALLY good ending and then work their way up to that, instead of just going with the flow like they did with s3.

what do yall think

  • Bad deaths for good characters.

  • I hope it doesn't end with Clementine and AJ staying in Richmond. The Garcia's are too boring for her.

  • garcia's will all die, even javier because he touched clementine's hat.

    Bad deaths for good characters.

  • The one button action scenes. They were fine in the past seasons but in s3 it felt lazy at least in the previous seasons you can feel some tension but in this one its like press d to move out of the way of the vehicle like c'mon telltale make me look for a way out with my damn mouse and let me run with my keyboard

  • Better this than alone

  • Actually, I'd rather have them be alone again than go to Richmond.

  • Determinant characters that die no matter what. It's not excusable anymore and it barely was to begin with.

  • Flashback Lee.

  • Lack of hubs, focus on action scenes over character development, a predictable story, one dimensional characters, useless choices that end up the same, forced relationships (looking at you Jate and Gabentine), different writers every episode, lazy/uninspired game menu (ANF's menu put me to sleep), lack of new soundtracks that stand out, short episodes, dropped plotlines, cartoony villains, killing the main cast by the end of the season, overused tropes (the fuck up, the lone survivor, the caring stranger that values friends and family over all), and Gabe.

    Existence.

  • I bet they could pull that off if they did it properly

    Flashback Lee.

  • In all fairness, they sorta fixed this problem with Conrad.

  • Inconsistent story-telling and lack of explanation for missing characters.

  • Indeed, but instead he was cursed with another fate, that being not significant to the main plot.

She ought to be warning folks about the omen of that hat. "D" for death. Her hat it's magical like mj'o'lner (Thor hammer). Spares no one good or bad.

She might let Gabe try it on though if he gets a tantrum. LoL

garcia's will all die, even javier because he touched clementine's hat.

  • What season 4 shouldn't have

    • The same writers that season 3 had
  • I like how they kept Conrad and his only real purpose was to see how many different times he could die, only appearing for his next determinate death depending on if you miss a QTE.

short episodes, not having downtime/hubs, no wasted villains, so many "shock" deaths, useless detriment character deaths (like Ava), lack of character development, too large of a main cast, `999 rewrites during the season, firing staff mid season, linear story line with limited differences depending on choice (aka give us a reason to want to replay the entire game, not just have choices effect the last 10 min of the game).

  • I still think to this day that Lee has one of the most unique facial features/designs in TTWD. I feel like the new graphics engine will make him look horrible, besides Clementine doesn't have to think about Lee all the time. This season almost went down that road and I'm glad they didn't.

  • Not another annoying kid :'D

  • It shouldn't exist as it still will be bad. Well either get more bland "CHARACTERS" or the trash ANF ones.

  • Robots, or ninja giant turtles mutant, nor superman I am pretty sure it won't fit the story XD

  • Yep notice that hat never leaves her either. Glued to the scalp when she falls underwater twice in
Season 2. Some sorcery going on with that cap. Reggie pats her on the head like a puppy then falls to death from Carver over trivial shit.
Even Lee got taken down of all people from touching the cap. So yeah dude don't fuck with the hat I guess.

  • I don't want to have to jack something up again.

  • Rushed storylines and characters that die before serving a proper plot

Romance, particularly where Clementine is concerned.
    Copouts.
    Kenny-types; Kenny-clones moreso.
Uneven sides.(Again, Kate vs. David was supposed to be a thing?)
Female characters who are emphasized and flawed too much or too little.
Boy characters who are overtly negative.
A non-Clementine kid character that is just there to make her look good and/or die.
    Short episodes.
    Black and White morality.
Main Villain who are onenote, overly evil, and/or straw hypocrites.
Perfectly good characters that get wasted.
Determinate characters that get killed off just because.
    Useless deaths.
    Dropped subplot points.
