Telltale frequently called it "Walking Dead Third Season" as its placeholder title before the "New Frontier" subtitle was revealed. Calling a new game after this one "Season 3" would be inconsistent, as although it would be the "third chapter" in Clem's story, it would not be the actual third Season but the fourth Season. Future games will probably rely on subtitles like New Frontier did, I'd imagine.

No I would still simply because I was wondering why it wasn't in the title and it didn't really focus on Clem. Even if ANF was the best of the 3 I would be wondering if it really was season 3 most likely.
