Cisgender
adjective
adjective: cisgender; adjective: cis-gender; adjective: cisgendered; adjective: cis-gendered
denoting or relating to … morea person whose sense of personal identity and gender corresponds with their birth sex.
so, like Raven said, it's the opposite of transgender. It's not a derogatory term as some anti-SJWs like to think it is; it's just a technical term to describe someone who defines themselves as the same gender they were born into.
I do agree, it was very misplaced. Though honestly? I did enjoy ANF, and I did like that scene, but all 5 episodes felt super rushed, maybe that's why it was oddly placed. Just hope season 4 won't be rushed.
Yeah but put yourself in a situation where you're a man in their mid to late 20's and a 13 year old you've known for at least 3 days tells you that they started their period and you had no idea they were going to say that.

Yeah... not calling you weird but a normal, and by normal I mean average and maybe completely sane person, would tell them to fuck of without telling them to fuck off. I really don't think you understand how awkward the situation would be.
Yeah, it's only awkward because you feel awkward about it. You don't have.
Shame you come from one of the most sexually repressed countries on the planet. Where anything even remotely related is too awkward to discuss like a mature fucking adult.

Plus, the way the scenes were playing out seemed a little suspicious after a bit. Particularly the timing of Clementine's appearance and what she had to say.
Eh, what's that?
Also, no this isn't late, why do you ask?
The only thing I gotta ask is how the heck do you do that small text formatting? Been buggin me for ages
To be fair, this is back when I thought Ava was in her late teens herself. Which, combined with some previous theories and random thoughts, … moremade it seem like it'd make even more sense. Hell, you could even debate it'd be the other way around considering Gabe's character.

Well, for starters, let's talk about how Gabe(who's probably the biggest character on the promo art, btw) determinately questions whether they can trust Ava and how do you know when you can trust someone, with one of Javier's responses mentions making split second decisions that you regret for the rest of your life.
Second, there's how, the Specialist showing up aside, the armory heist was going a little more smoothly than you'd expect and Ava mentions that she and Gabe will "keep watch" while Javier's getting his stab wound(which she proves her medical skillz by diagonising "Yep. It's definitely bleeding." ) looked at by Lingard. She then walks off with Gabe, who having previously questioned whether they can trust her, starts up some small talk about scopes or something as he follows her. (Talk about some weird deja vu, eh?)
Then there's Clementine(the other half of the then overblown joke that is "GayBenTime") herself, who just happens to turn up in Dr. Lingard's office immediately after this and that's when it started to add up. And goddamn, did it add up! The fact that she was having her period{"Waitaminute...nooo...."}, Javier tells her it just means she can be a mom if she wants{"They wouldn't dare...would they?"}, and that she cited Ava as "having to admit(wtf?)...I was a good mom to AJ"{"Oh my goodness, they really are. Do they really have the balls to do this?"} just sealed the deal in my mind. And finally, throw in the fridge logic that they would've been in Lingard's office for at least 10 or 15 minutes and it all cums together.
Now, ethically speaking, I suppose I should be glad it didn't go in that direction after all. But damn, would I be lying if I said a part wishes they did!

At the time, I had no clue but looking back on it I was thinking of one of the new frontier members ****** her. Maybe that Steven Ogg looking ass. He looks like a rapist... this is starting to sound weird
After I found My Little Pony porn on accident (I FUCKING SWEAR IT I WAS LOOKING FOR OTHER KIND OF ADULT CONTENT I ONLY WANTED TO SEE THE GORE) there is nothing that can break my soul. Before, I couldn't even look at the porn images in my feed. Now I just roll past them without blinking.
She was clearly born a chick given her raspy feminine voice and already unusual but still distinctly female proportions. No idea why she was apparently always bald though.

yeah, well, I figured that scene was just a silly attempt at making us, the player, question if we can trust Ava and Gabe was unimportant, just the vehicle to do so.
So you thought Clem would fight for Gabe's affection or what? What are you implying...?
and it all cums together
do I even want to know what's going on in that sick head of yours?

True, though I also thought it was an interesting(if ultimately pointless) little subversion of what you'd expect from Gabe, tying into his expected character development throughout the episode as well.
So you thought Clem would fight for Gabe's affection or what? What are you implying...?
Not really, though I wouldn't put that past Telltale either.
More like having a huge troll moment for those who hated Gabentine and seeing how many flip their stance/shit over that shit/stance because people are hypocritical like that. Personally, I assumed Clementine would merely be slightly annoyed(again, deja vu) but ultimately understanding compared to Javier(depending on if you can't play him differently there or not anyway). But then again, I also thought Gabentine itself would just stay a meta-lampshade/joke on Eleanor/Javier's part, so maybe it would've gone in your direction after all.
That moment aside, I had always hoped that Gabe's return in a future installment would include a new girlfriend character for a similar reason, but I guess that(amongst other things) is unlikely now. Dammit Telltale!
do I even want to know what's going on in that sick head of yours?
Nah, I just put that there for the sake of the pun.
And realistically speaking, I kinda doubt Gabe could handle all dat.

Yeah, that's pretty disgusting.
Woah...who said anything about that?!
I'd get banned if I told you that.
It's odd how people are more comfortable with Clem losing her virginity than talking about periods with her.
I really hope so, too....
Good point....
No, they don't know how to respond because they find it an awkward subject. It's not exactly a secret. Nor is it uncommon knowledge.

Why are people still talking about this shit?
And?
I would explain what a period is, what it means, and what they need to do about it.

Clem's disgusting.
They really aren't, for the most part.
Yeah, it's only awkward because you feel awkward about it. You don't have.

... are you a female?
They're talking about even worse shit than her menstruation. I'm just weirded out by it...
What, Clementine getting beat to the punch by Ava or getting pregnant after her first time don't do it for ya ?
Probably Clementine being raped is what got to me. Or her losing her virginity at the age of 13.
No. And I'll have no problem talking to my daughter about it when the time comes.
Oh, I forgot that to be honest.
Dude everything began to fuck up when John Lennon died
Just means clem is getting ready for her rule 34. They grow up so fast
The rule 34 that was already there and was in fact the vast majority?
Yeah, they really do.
Eh, what's that?

Yeah, I remember when ya'll were saying that shit. That'd be interesting(read:fucked up) considering all the rules.

Smile HD, anyone?
You fucked up 14yo
The fact that it got old thanks to the same 5 or 7 pics also helps.
