If you were Gabe would you have left with David?
Okay so would you? Your Gabe now so let's get you in Gage's mindset
- he's the last/only parent you have
- he fucked up
- you lost your little sister
- your just sick and tired of fighting
- you like a girl he despise your dad
- your dad took away a little boy from the girl you like
- your step mom and uncle are in love
- you thought he was dead
- he's alive and healthy
- will you leave with him or stay?

*you like a girl she despise your dad *
Personally, I definitely wouldn't but I'm not Gabe. Honestly, I would've been surprised if he didn't say he'd go after all those years; it'd be like Clementine having the opportunity to be with Lee/Diana again being laid on the table.
Two things they never do anything [constructive] with despite setting it up and the perfectly good plot involved
It should be "your step mom is in love with your uncle". This accounts for both people who romanced Kate and for those who didn't, since relationships are a twoway street and all.

That was after he made his decision, as some people seem to conveniently forget.
Oops
I think I would because I won't want to lose my dad again, even know he's a bit of a psychopath but hey he's still my dad.
Sounds like a TELLTALE CHOICE. Lol. IRL, if I was in Gabe's position, I would LIKELY try to REASON with David if possible first. If he wasn't willing to listen, I'd be like "Fuck it. If you wanna abandon your own people, go right ahead. You're on your own."
If Telltale didn't characterize David as a psychotic hothead 95% of the time, I might have been able to understand some of Gabe's decisions. But as it is, he just comes across as a complete tool. Clem wasn't nearly that stupid when she was just eight years old, so Gabe has absolutely no excuse.
One of the Telltale staff stated that Gabe was NOT acting on emotion when he decided to go with David. He was being selfless in fact. Gabe was FULLY aware of his father's faults at that point, but that doesn't change the fact that David was part of the Family. Even though David WAS an asshole, and Gabe ADMITTED IT, he was STILL family.
Personally, I wouldn't have been so LENIENT toward David if I were Gabe, but STILL.
He is David's son. Plus, he had an ulterior motive anyway...it didn't work out, but he had his reasons.

Yes but I won't cause him to crash like an idiot.
I'm still a bit baffled as to how David fucked that up so badly.
I would go with David as Gabe. I would go with him as Javier. I would go with him as Kate. I would go with him as Clem. I would go with him as anyone.
It baffles me how people think David's plan was the wrong one when it was the only one that was actually survivable and made sense. I've no idea why the game paints this as the bad plan and forces Javier to be against it. Seriously if Kate wanted to go on some suicide mission and somehow miraculously save the town with just a bulldozer (never mind the huge herd, am I right?), then be my guest, go die alone (which she did lol), but choosing to go with David, Gabe and Clem (?) should've been an option, and I would've certainly taken it, as Gabe or as anyone else with half a brain (apparently not Kate).
The point was likely that David was the one who was leading them to get what they need to save Richmond in the first place--it being "his city" and all--and then he just decided to call it quits and turn his back on the people still there, particularly when Ava/Tripp died on the way to accomplish that plan. Kate and determinately Clementine had a personal reason to wanna help out with this plan and David leading it was probably a sign that there's something resembling chivalry in him, so hearing him throw in the towel when they have the highest score was like a middle finger to everyone.
But yeah, it is kinda odd if Javier can't at least entertain the idea like he could with Conrad. Then again, this installment didn't really have much in the way of a consistent theme or conflict beyond David when you really think about it.
actually Gabe did that he repeats it 3 times when you get the ending where David dies and Kate goes missing.
I know Gabe grabbed the wheel when he realized he wasn't getting through to David, but that doesn't explain how David crashed so badly and got them completely surrounded.
i think the walkers would probably have already been close to them and because Gabe grabbed the wheel then the car went out of control and of course the noise of the car alerted the walkers which is how they probably ended up in that situation.
I guess. Either that or they just happened to swerve really badly into a bbunch of them cause David was speeding the whole time.
I probably wouldn't have went with David since
a.)He's more unstable now than when I was kid
b.)Javi and Kate seem to be better parents than David
c.)He's unpredictable
bonus point - a girl that I like is with them
Whatever Telltale's intentions were when they conceived the characters, all I'm left with are my own impressions of them. If Gabe stuck with David out of selflessness rather than emotion, I didn't pick up on it. David was SUCH a self-righteous bastard (particularly when he ripped AJ away from Clem) I simply couldn't make that leap. In some ways, he was even worse than Carver exactly BECAUSE he fancied himself to be a moral person. Carver had no such hypocritical illusions about himself.
If you were Gabriel would you try to convince everyone to leave with your dad?
Now I can make arguments for the other path too, but I'd have left with him to get AJ
Of course I wouldnt. He just keep fucked up and losing the control of himself. Even Gabe himself called him an asshole. Still, he wanted to left with him and abandoned his uncle and his stepmom who take care of him for 4 years while David wanted to abandoned his family and wanted to go to the military again. Also, he is dangerous and unstable. Gabe was an idiot when he made his call about leaving with David.
well david's plan wasn't stupid as fuck like kate's so hell yeah
I'm no expert on construction vehicles but don't bulldozers have tracks that look a bit like tanks, while this vehicle had normal tyres? And I didn't get this ending but when I watched it on YouTube and Kate called it a busket I was daring deep into space and said... bu-busket? You mean a fuckin' bucket, ya stupid fuck. But yeah. I don't think that was a bulldozer.
No...no. I'd stay with javier and all that.
I would've stayed with Javi. Gabe acknowledged who his dad has become and I'm sure he was split on what to do, but still decided to go with his dad (I don't blame him, David's still his dad).
So yeah, I would've stayed with Javi.
I would have stuck with Javier without a second thought if I were in Gabe's shoes, and if I had David for a dad.
I feel like your British Idk why I just red that's last part in a British accent
Believe it or not, I'm from the UK but I don't sound or type in that kind of dialect XD I normally make up my own things instead of saying stuff like: ya bloody cunt. I'd be more likely to say: you stupid fuck I am going to shove this pencil so far up your ass you'll be shitting diamonds. But yeah, I'm actually part Caribbean (Dominican) too with some family members from the US and I spend most of my time online speaking with Americans while my real life time would be with my real friends. But yeah I guess I picked up most of my things from the other guys
Nope, I would never stay with a psychopath who keeps pushing everyone he loves. Javier >>>>>>>>>> Every character introduced in A New Frontier.
I just imagined javi talking in a British accent and saying to Gabe you stupid fuck I am going to shove this pencil so far up your ass you'll be shutting diamonds
Shitting*
When javier finds a new baseball jersey.
In all seriousness though we don't all sound like that... at least I don't
He's David. He spreads pain, hatred and misery wherever he goes, even after death.
If I was Gabe I would've jumped off the nearest roof asap
i thought u said "I would have slept with Javier without a second thought if I were in Gabe's shoes" so i was like wtf
...Really now.
Hahaha, nice one.
