Clem's Voice Actress
Not to seem rude, but does anyone else feel like her performance, mainly in TNF, was kind of...mediocre, I mean don't get me wrong, some lines were alright, it's just the way she delivered some lines was...awful, they could of at least done some retakes.

I think most of the VA in TNF was mediocre.
I liked all of the VA
I disagree. I think Melissa did a fantastic job. Especially during the more emotional parts.
I'm with you on this one, ANF has the best VA in the series yet. Especially on Melissa's VA and the Garcias too. It's probably the lines are too cringy or the line isn't fit for the scene is what I think rubs people the wrong way, therefore, blaming it on the voice work.
Each character had some awkward line deliveries, but I think the real problem is the dialogue as it was written. All in all ANF was a rushed project that really could have used another draft or two.
Melissa did the best she could with what she had to work with. I think her voice actress was one of the best in the game (along with Javier, David and Kate) but the thing that put me off were the cringy lines. Oh well, not their fault.
Also, Clem's older in the game now so her voice is deeper.
TBH Inthink it's just a matter of targeting the voice work because of the fact that it is a New Frontier -.- all my money on people wouldn't do it if season 1 had the same type of voice acting but the same story. No one would bring it up and would praise it instead.
Yeah, I should probably rephrase my statement , she didn't mess up, I'd say the voice director wasn't good for TNF, though to be honest, most agree that a lot of people messed up on this game.

I think they all did a great job. I've recently replayed all the Walking Dead games and it was interesting to hear the difference in Clem's voice every season. I liked her deeper voice in ANF, she's older.
The cringy lines didn't help.
Yeah, I think the blame for most of the awkward sounding lines are probably due to the mediocre job of the voice director and writers.
I would argue that Season 1 had the best VA's -- it's all subjective though.

She did fine. I didnt see any problem about that.

Ooooo fuck it.
personally I thought that Melissa sounded bored. Yeah the writing was shit and there wasn't much excitement for her to work with but from what I remember I always thought that Clem really sounded like she couldn't be bothered every time she opened her mouth
Deepening the voice for age is one thing, but even compared to S2 VA she really just sounded very monotone and lacking any energy or variety
(Melissa) did just fine it was just that the episodes where rushed and short.
A lot of things in ANF were mediocre at very best. I liked the scene she has when she's reminisces about AJ if only it wasn't plagued with bad writing it would have been a tearjerker. I don't blame her, I blame the writers and director of the game series
It was alright, I don't get what you're talking about. Clem can't sound like an 8 year old girl all the time.
I never really noticed any bad acting from Melissa while playing A New Frontier so I can't say I agree.
It was the writing unfortunately, not Melissa.
Her line delivery wasn't bad, but I could tell in the first two episodes that she was struggling to adjust to the voice.
I probably was just hearing her get used to the new voice. It was probably hard to use the deeper voice for a long period of time.
