Making peace with David?

edited July 2017 in The Walking Dead

God it just feels so forced. The fact that he attacks you even if you didn't romance Kate and that even after Kate says "Javi made it pretty clear. There isn't anything between us." is just so stupid.

Look at the trailer Telltale made for example. 1:17 - 1:28

Here is the picture of what I'm talking about:

The video on the left of the video is labeled "FIGHT DAVID" is where Javier and Clementine both go after Gabe; not where the fight happens. It also clearly implies that there might have been a way to avoid fighting David.

Why did Telltale mislead players like this? Or did they just rushed it so they could get this game over with?

It's just one of Telltale's traits by now unfortunately.

The section was 100% forced. My Javier sided with David near 100% of the time and they still fought, even after dismissing Kate. I would not be surprised if Season 4 did the same situations.

  • I think they want us to forget about this garbage. And yeah, Telltale is a dick to players who didn't want to fight David.

This is from the Gabe and David alive ending. David walks away if you choose [Keep walking.].

  • I know that. I'm just pointing out that it was really misleading since they put it right next to "FIGHT DAVID" video.

  • That's just classic Telltale move, making us believe the choices matter while they actually don't.

  • The fight with David shouldnt have happened if you rejected Kate, period. The fact that the fight happens anyways with basically no real opportunity to defend yourself from Kate's claims is lazy bs.
