I took it as she wanted to either have a miscarriage or a stillborn. Not sure what else her motivation would be.
That would make sense. Wouldn't she give birth to a baby if she didn't ?
She was already pregnant when you met them at the wreck site. Lee climbs the ladder and hears them speaking about something and it's implied in the finale a few times about her being pregnant. Then in the season 2 premiere she's VERY pregnant so at the very least her baby could've ended up stillborn. I'm not entirely sure her motivation for killing it other than a split second choice. I don't know. Because they're talking about naming it in the premiere of season 2 so it's kind of confusing.
I originally thought the joke was that she's a very good drinker, but I think it was just her under a LOT of stress that meant she couldn't resist the offer.
I think she was just stressed and wasn't really thinking about how it could affect the baby in the long run, hence Kenny's reaction when she goes for more.

I just took it as that she gave in to having a drink in a rather bleak situation. Not intentionally trying to kill the baby.
One drink even half a bottle wouldn't kill a fetus. She just needed a drink.
Throughout S1, she was trying to hide the fact that she's pregnant. When Kenny first offers it to her, she looks down at her stomach. Then she realizes she nearly gave her pregnancy away, so she grabs it and drinks it to try to draw attention away from it. That doesn't work however, because Kenny manages to put two and two together, hence his shocked reaction. He wasn't surprised at Christa downing the whole bottle, he was surprised because he just figured out she was pregnant.

Regardless, it's stupid to drink any alcohol while pregnant as it could lead to any number of complications.

Before we knew how to safely keep water clean everyone drank beer including children who weren't breast feeding and pregnant women. The beer had less bacteria and filth in it due to the brewing process.
She had a thirst for failed birth
She was under a lot of stress for starters and some people just turn to drinking to solve their problems, like Kenny and Nick. She's not a heavy drinker like them, but I'd take a few sips of whiskey too if I were in her shoes.
