What to expect in S4 from Batman: The Enemy Within
I was surprised I actually enjoyed this first episode more than the first episode of the first season which was outright meh for me. Hell, I'm even intrigued by the story which makes me definitely excited for the next episode. Now, I'm still fresh off the ending and I haven't read the opinion of others about the episode so I might be with a majority or in a minority here.
What I think Telltale will bring in S4 based from what they've shown in Batman S2:
- LONGER EPISODES, jesus christ I was surprised by the length of the episode compared to the previous season of Batman and ANF
- DECENT AND INTERESTING STORY(?), again I haven't dive into the opinion of others but I checked the reviews on steam and critics say it's good enough. Also we're still in the first episode so that doesn't that warrant this game to be good as I think it is but eh it got me hook lets just see what they do next.
- SMOOTHER GRAPHICS, what I mean by this is the outlines look natural and has basically higher graphics fidelity. Outlines both in the previous season of Batman and ANF were kinda all over the place. Yeah I get that Telltale is trying to pull of a more comic book look but I think they failed it in that obj when they made this new look compared to previous telltale games (TWD S1 & S2,TWAU, Tales From the Borderlands, etc.) which is much more similar to their vision.
- LESS QQQQQ E, MORE A D Q E DURING ACTION SEQUENCES , actually felt more tense smashing a key rather than simple one to two key pressing but hey there some people that like it.
- SAME OLD LAZY MENU DESIGN, pretty disappointed by this tbh
Any thing else you'd like to see/expect from The Enemy Within to the Final Season?

I definitely like the characterizations in Batman. The villains always seem so interesting...yeah we need that carried over into TWDG.
I'm surprised no one mentioned thier new relationship system. As in it let's you know if your relationship with a character changed from your dialogue choice/action. I thought that was pretty cool.
And it shows your relationship with a character in the credits, much like in ANF with David, Kate, and Gabe.
Question. Does new batman game have spoilers for first?
if don't get my animated menu and my credit music back i will burn this willy wonka factory and blame the fire on the cursed indian burial grounds it was built on
yeah I forgot about this, its actually really cool that they do this in the end of the episode rather than the end of the season. The 'your relationship with x has changed' is pretty neat too.
Of course it has, imo the story of the first isn't great. Sure it has some cool moments and bits of the story is somewhat interesting but this episode, man I really liked the story in this one.
Yes! YES! I love this idea!
yeah I love me some cinemagraph-ish main menu :P
Developments for other TT games don't necessarily carry over into then-upcoming TWD games.
But some significant ones do. The Wolf Among Us was significantly redesigned to have choices after the success of the Walking Dead.
Lately, some (not necessarily positive) developments include no rewind, new menu design, Crowdplay, etc.
I am sure the relationship thing at the end of the episodes will be in future games. That's something that isn't niche (like the detective stuff in Batman).
I really loved TWD S2's menu
I hope there's a codex menu like they have in Batman, TWAU, and GOT.
Have it called Clem's diary or something like that.
Well the difference between Batman, TWAU and GOT and TWD is that they have established lore that needs background. I'd still like a codex type thing for TWD though, that'd be neat.
It could be used for what the characters did before the apocalypse and detailing your relationship with them.
Not Batman but I would love to see the Minecraft: Story Mode S2 combat system reworked into The Final Season. It'd be cool to have to lock on and combat several zombies coming from multiple directions while having to plan attacks and movement carefully so as to avoid being surrounded and bitten.
Eh, I don't think a "Codex" type menu would really fit the Walking Dead franchise to be honest. Seems kinda... excessive.
