What if the motor inn group had found Vince and Wyatt instead of Ben?
In the 400 Days DLC, only Vince (2 Days In) and Wyatt's (41 Days In) stories take place before the end of Season 1, and they both take place before Episode 2 - Starved For Help. And, if you shoot off Justin's foot and get out of the car, Wyatt will say the only reason he is with the group is because Vince saved his life.
What if, during the events of Starved For Help, Lee, Mark and Kenny had come across Vince, Wyatt and Danny/Justin instead of Ben, Travis and Mr Parker (Danny/Justin being the one trapped in the bear trap)?
Just a quick what-if that came into my head.

I like to think Lilly would've still been there...

Due to them being more valuable than Ben, I guess things would go much better than the existed.
Danny/Justin being in the bear trap would be a stroke of luck, considering that Danny is a possible rapist (even though I liked his character) and Justin is skeevy as fuck. Wouldn't want either of them coming back to the group of mostly women and children.
Hopefully Vince and Wyatt would be able to tell the group about how everyone turns no matter how they die, because that was basically the most useful thing that Ben ever did for the group.
Having two extra men in the group, especially Vince, would make them more formidable against both the St. John's. Also possible that one of them has strong suspicions of the St. John's like Kenny did. Maybe Lee wouldn't have to fight Andy by himself.
There would have been no thievery or secret deals with the bandits. Instead the group would have more patrols and vigilance in regards to the bandits because there would be no sudden ceasefire. They wouldn't have been ambushed by the bandits because Lee and Lilly wouldn't be preoccupied with finding out who was stealing. They would have two extra men to fight the bandits off, maybe the group wouldn't have to flee on the RV. Maybe Duck wouldn't have been bitten if they'd been able to hold their ground.
Justin/Danny losing their Leg anyway would be a bit ironic seeing as they left the other behind with the same wound althought i feel like Danny could survive the wound unlike Ben s professor thought if Danny did survive the wound he d probably die due to getting left behind eventually because if he lived and was missing his leg he d either be left behind during the bandit attack on Long road ahead or when the zombies get to the house in no time left.
they would probably accompany Lee to the farm just like Ben does and while Wyatt would leave i think Vince would stay because he s suspicious of the ST Johns maybe Mark s death wouldnt happen.
Wyatt and Vince would probably help with Scavenging during episode 3 instead of Kenny because of his gunshot wounds slowing him down.
Vince would probably relate to Lee if you tell him about Lee s past while Wyatt would probably view Lee differently.
Althought they d probably still end up on the meatlocker .
I think Wyatt would die in around every Corner while Vince would survive till no time left or be separated from the group in all that remains.

All i have to say is if we had them instead of ben kat and duck might still be alive or survived longer at the very least

Ironic, yes. Mr Parker died from a combination of shock and blood loss, even before Lee cut off his leg. That's what I feel would have happened to whoever got their leg shot off by Vince, even if the walkers didn't get to them. In addition, the axe Lee used had just been used to kill a walker, so it's possible that he was infected (again), like Nicholas was in the comics. So the chances of Danny/Justin surviving any more than Mr Parker are low.
I'd reckon that how they'd react to the group and the St. Johns would depend on what happened in their stories. In the epilogue, if Wyatt stayed in the car, he's eager to find other survivors (mainly to find Eddie), while if he got out of the car, he's more wary, especially about ending up with someone like Nate. With Vince, he's curious/eager to find a safe place if you shoot off Danny's foot, but focused on keeping the group together if you shoot off Justin's foot (and yet in that scenario, he still stays at the camp and can't be convinced).
So they'd bring up whether to shoot Beatrice or leave her to get eaten? Or, if they're quick enough, try and save her?
Assuming they stick around and not try and bail when things go wrong.
Maybe not with Vince, especially since in Season 2, Episode 3, he confronts Tavia about smoking against Carver's orders and, against Tavia's protestations, goes off to tell him. Wyatt...
No, it doesn't. I know you don't particularly like Wyatt (correct me if I'm wrong), but I do, especially when playing him as the straight man to Eddie's antics.
Actually, that scene with Travis pissed me off. Lee could have easily gone back to help him. Hell, Ben wanted to go back and help him, but Lee held him back.
No, you're right. But it was less to do with that and more to do with the fact that he just seemed like enough of a grump to reject Lee, Mark,and Kenny's help due to distrust, much like Travis did.
Yeah, it is bizarrely inconvenient. Especially since Travis only exists to give Ben's original VA a character to play after being replaced.
the reason why i said they could survive more than mr parker is because unlike him they did not immediatelly pass out from shock after getting their leg shot off while mr parker immediatelly passed out which is why i think there s a bigger chance of them surviving .
Yeah i think Wyatt would try to save beatrice but vince would only help depending on whether you shot Justin or Danny.
