I think Telltale already get it. ANF sucked.

It's this type of thing which I don't believe Telltale has got. When you're planning to publish your first episode in the first half of 2018, something suspicious is going on. I'm smelling a scent of rush, and I'm not liking it at all. It's feels even shorter than the yearly cycle of Call of Duty.

But I get what you're trying to say. One time is alright, second time is a pass. Third if the game is just awful (which it is). Anything more than that and it just comes to whining, which I know I can be accused of multiple of times, haha.

We don't need multiple of threads on the same thing, especially when they're so close together like on page 1-2. There should be a search function to find threads, but I can't seem to find it or it doesn't exist. To which if it doesn't, it would be very useful rather than having to use ///search text/// site:https://telltale.com/community/ in the google index to find threads.

Yeah, David annoyed the crap out of me too. I found it very annoying that he always goes on and on about how family-oriented he is and yet he doesn't hesitate to rip a baby out of the arms of his maternal figure. I wished there would have been an option to make Clem's relationship with him in the flashbacks more hostile like instead of spitting in his face she should have been able to kick him in the balls or cut his face with her knife (which ends up giving him a scar in present day or something) David knocks her out and she wakes up in an abandoned van or some shit and AJ and the group is nowhere to be found.

Not really defending him, I don't think, but whatever. You tried to provide David's character with reasonable motivation for driving

Yeah i hope they go a darker route too. I am a bit creeped out with myself for wanting this but with Clementine returning as the lead for the final season I would love to see a story arc where Clementine comes across a shady post-apocalyptic town with no law or rule enforcement whatsoever and is full of a lot of shady residents and creepers. Because of the fact that Clementine is a young girl she is a much bigger target than the average survivor that passes through there, eventually she is cornered by a creepy guy who attempts to force himself on her and you get the option to shoot or stab him or scream for help.

I agree. I want another dark game like S1.

  • Well said!

Well, then it seems you also low-key love the haters since you keep talking about them in every single one of these threads that pop up. It's ok, we are lovable people

  • It doesn't help the fact they work on multiple games at the same time. That's why Telltale's games (most of them) are shit these days. TWD S1 they solely worked on just thay game and look at the difference in quality compared to the games post 2012? Naughty Dog work on one game at a time and look at how good they are? I realise their company is very different but it paints a picture. Quality over quantity

  • I don't get why people find the need to go into a thread they dislike and make comments like these?

Ugh. Another one of these threads? Hasn't everyone already explained everything that's wrong with it to the point where nothing new can possibly be added?

  • Exactly! What is the purpose? Just a time waste, with no substance in the comment. Is it that difficult to hop around to the next thread in line that you do like? Not mandatory to comment on every thread seen whether you like or dislike it.

  • I could say something similar with every thread of these I see.

Exactly! What is the purpose? Just a time waste with no substance in the thread. Is it that difficult to make a thread that actually tackles a different topic that can provoke new and refreshing discussion? Not mandatory to make a thread about how much ANF sucks donkey balls every five seconds.

  • Well considering the dark meanspiritedness was a significant sticking point with Season 2.5, I think I'm more than justified in appreciating ANF's Lighter tone. It helps that it's more or less a glorified spinoff that just happened to include Clementine.

Whoa, I'd never compare Sarah's death to theirs. Sarah was at least understandable, though unfortunate because you could influence her durin

  • All in all, spending times on forums in general rarely changes anything significantly in peoples' lives but people come here to discuss what they want to discuss and I think we should all respect that and at least make comments that actually relate to the topic of the original post rather than rolling eyes saying "This again?". Because there are people who would love to continue discussing the flaws of A New Frontier, so just let them have their fun and let the op's questions get answered I say.

If you want a thread that isn't about bashing on ANF, then please feel free to make one, no one's stopping you or forcing you to come on these threads. I'll be honest, even I'm pretty tired of seeing these posts but people are allowed to post them.

Well one of the main purposes of a discussion forum is to create threads that you want discussions, reactions and answers to. Whether those threads become repetitive is a different debate. Long as these users are following the guidelines then it's really up to the mods to investigate and take action on repeat threads of similar topics. It sounds like op bashing just because their thread is similar to a dozen past threads and they aren't asking what you prefer to read about, but I always felt the least some of you guys can do is follow up with a more detailed response that is related to the topic instead of a brief open ended complaint with nothing else for anyone of both sides to gain insight from. With the way New Frontier turned out I'm not annoyed or surprised. It's understandable folks are frustrated. Season 2 was criticised heavily and then with a 3 year Gap only to have no improvements besides graphics just blows. Then like with season 2 folks just want to come out and say "oh leave it in the past don't keep talking shit about it" well no one up there appeared to learn from season 2 and now everyone is expected to keep quiet so season 4 can be next in line to suck balls too.. then we'll have to "get over" that one too soon enough I'd guess. If nothing else hopefully the developers can notice the backlash and finally hit another home run of a game with the final season. If everyone stays quiet until it's too late, then they will think all is well and advertise another cow pie season that will also be the last installment with no more room for improvements.
