Telltale is greedy

Why can't people who already own TWD S1, S3, Michonne and ANF just get an update for the enhanced graphics instead of buying all of it again (it's not even cheap, it's £55). And there is a exclusive PS4 theme if you pre-order the collection but why couldn't it be released on its own

  • Because profit is the incentive to owning company. Because it’s not a single-seller or monopolistic company, Telltale has higher prices because higher prices are supposed to equal higher quality. Is that always the case? No.

And the theme can’t be released by itself because when you have something available for pre order, you typically want a bonus to be part of it so there’s a reason to preorder it.

  • Barely any people will buy this that's for sure.

  • they're losing money cause the games they're releasing are hot garbage. the only thing keeping telltale from dying is the walking dead series so they're milking it as much as they can

    1. Updating graphics is still work, and work should still be paid
    2. Water is wet
    3. Maybe management changed well enough that they're trying to get easy cash for the employees who weren't paid well enough before
    4. Might be trying to cover the costs of better stuff for later games including TWD, considering they might be going all out for the final season
  • the only thing keeping telltale from dying is the walking dead series so they're milking it as much as they can

Then they're going to end that soon as well. Maybe they are trying to business suicide.

  • I am sure that whatever amount of money that is raised by the Walking Dead Collection will go towards the Final Season. I am buying it :)

  • They’re giving us all of their twd games, including dlc, for only £55 when it should be around say £70? With enhanced graphics? And all in one package? I wouldn’t call that greedy at all, especially for a large company, they need to make a profit somehow and how else are they going to do it?
