This doesn't bother me at all. Michonne was three episodes long and it was great.
Why the fuck are you comparing the length of a miniseries with the one of a full season? Were your money worth this short full priced game?
How is this a problem ? I enjoyed the cutscenes.
There is a reason why this game is a Point and Click Adventure game. This isn't Planet of the Apes Last Frontier which is much worse.
I would have written them to where they kill lots of walkers before they are taken down finally.
That's much worse.
I've already said that Clem has been alone for years without Aj and so she has taken on a Michonne personality.
I don't remember Michonne being so cold to people she doesn't trust.
Trying to start a train or look for a coin adds nothing to the story.
Looking for a coin resulted in getting out of the meat locker and trying to start the train helped the group reach Savannah. Jesus Christ, do you even video game, bro??!!!!
There actually were hubs to talk and interact with people. The junkyard and the Bar are two examples.
It was still a lackluster of hubs. Two isn't enough.
Make up your own stories about them. It'd be rude to ask Eleanor or Tripp about their personal lives. Javi would already know what Kate was like before the outbreak.
Then why should I care about them if I don't know much about them?
I disagree with with all of this.

Really, you don't mind paying more money for less content? You don't mind spending $30 for about 6 hours of content and about $25 for 11-12 hours of content? Okay then, who am I to judge.
I've already said that Clem has been alone for years without Aj and so she has taken on a Michonne personality.
No she hasn't, she's probably gone a few weeks separated from AJ, considering how she looks exactly the same between when AJ is taken and when she meets Javi for the first time. You can say she spent years on her own with AJ, but that only applies to the alone ending and the Jane endings. But for both the Wellington ending (which you love touting) and the Kenny ending, that doesn't work. In the Kenny ending, Clem was on her own for less than a month, considering how it was one month between Kenny's death and when she's kicked out of the New Frontier. An unknown amount of time goes by between Kenny's death and when she met Ava, an unknown amount of time goes by from when Clem can initially reject Ava's offer to when she does eventually give in, and Clem spends an unknown amount of time with the New Frontier before she's kicked out. All we know was that it was a long enough span for her to gain their trust and get branded. Wellington was probably around the same amount of time she spent on her own, considering how AJ is the same age in this ending as he is with Kenny. With all of these factors, I can't imagine Clem spent more than a couple of weeks taking care of AJ or just by herself in these scenarios, not long enough to develop a Michonne personality.
There actually were hubs to talk and interact with people. The junkyard and the Bar are two examples.
Both of which were in the first episode. Episode 2 had one time when we could actually look around and talk to people, Episode 3 didn't have any, Episode 4 had one scene, and Episode 5 didn't have any. I'm not bothered by cut scenes, but still, we need more scenes of interacting with the other characters to gain a better understanding of them. There were more moments in the first two episodes of S1 than there were in the entirety of ANF, that's not a good thing.
Make up your own stories about them.
THAT'S YOUR EXCUSE!? I shouldn't have to make up my own damn fucking character backgrounds, that's the job of the fucking writers. You're constantly talking about how shit Season 2's characters were, can I just tell you to come up with your own stories or backgrounds for those characters to justify how underdeveloped they were? Chances are you'd think that's extremely asinine on my part, and extremely lazy on the writers part. Guess what, that's how we feel about ANF's characters.
Javi would already know what Kate was like before the outbreak.
But we don't, and we're playing as Javi. If I don't know, then Javi doesn't know.

But we don't, and we're playing as Javi. If I don't know, then Javi doesn't know.
Agreed. I’ve heard many commentators get upset about how backstory in general was delivered, one said it was rushed, many others said it was plain sloppy.
Now, you might be wondering why I’m responding to your comment, that’s because your playthrough showed me something in the first episode.
When Kate offers Javier the joint, you have the choice to say no. Even if you do, Mariana will wake up and say “I already know you guys do drugs.” Doesn’t matter if you took it or not.
You have the choice to lecture Kate on countless attempts and shut her attempts at romance down only for her to be right back at her antics.
You were an awesome brother to David in the flashbacks, guided his children through the four years where they had absolutely no idea what happened to him, and avoided getting involved with his wife? Doesn’t matter, he’s still an insufferable asshole.
I had a strong disdain for A New Frontier because your choices had little to no impact.
This doesn't bother me at all. Michonne was three episodes long and it was great.

Lol well good for you if you don’t mind paying for a full priced game that lacks the quality Season 1 did. Fine.
How is this a problem ? I enjoyed the cutscenes.
Except that this is a game we are supposed to be playing. I would have bought a movie if i wanted to sit through 90% of the scenes. Again if your happy with that fine. I on the hand call it lazy by Telltale who would rather us watch an episode than play it.
They did lie about 400 Days and I've said that they should have been the main group instead of the cabin group.
I actually agree with this.
The Kenny and Jane flashbacks could have been handled better.
Damn right they should have been!
I called it ages ago when I said that there should have been only one S2 ending and it should have been Wellington.
Again I actually agree. I would have even preferred that they ended walking dead after season 2.

No offence but how are you exactly debating by saying that?
Good riddance to them. Trying to start a train or look for a coin adds nothing to the story.
LOL! Oh really? So again you’d rather watch a cutscene of them starting the train instead of having the proud feeling that you did it yourself? Ha no thanks! I’d rather have the benefit of doing something than jack shit like most of Season 3 offered. I want a game to play, not watch a hundred cutscenes because the company are too lazy to make a playable game. Starting the train did add to the story because without getting it working the story would not have progressed, the same as “finding a coin” as you say. The reason these things were good is because it not only made the episodes longer but it added an extra kick or extra dialogue to the game like fixing the swing at the dairy farm. It’s just more interesting than having fuck all to do like in Season 3.
There actually were hubs to talk and interact with people. The junkyard and the Bar are two examples.
WOW and weren’t there sooooo many hubs and people to talk to? Lets see, the junkyard scene you could talk to Gabe, Mariana and Kate but tell me, could you ask them anything about themselves or general questions like the time you could with Lee in the drugstore? Remember that? Lee had the option of about 4 or 5 lines of dialogue to ask characters, plus the optional quest of getting Carley’s radio to work, then the joke they refer to later on how she didn’t know how to put batteries in. Once again it added interest and made the characters more relevant and even humorous. Season 3 offered nothing interesting about them. Same thing in the bar. You could only talk to Conrad and Francine but didn’t have any option to converse with them like you could in Season 1.
Make up your own stories about them. It'd be rude to ask Eleanor or Tripp about their personal lives.
LMAO! I just spat out my drink reading this. Make up your own story?? Why should i have to do that? Because Telltale have no imagination to make up their own backgrounds for these characters?? Seems like it. It would be rude??? How?? Isn’t that how you get to know people? “Hi there how are you? So what did you do before the apocalypse? Got any family? Hobbies?” How is that rude?? Once again, Telltale lacked the imagination to even create a scenario for any of Season 3’s characters except Javier and David.
Javi would already know what Kate was like before the outbreak
Yes? But we don’t! So why not reveal anything remotely interesting about her? Why do they never converse about the past by saying something like “Hey Javi, remember that time in the grocery store and i dropped that jar of pickles, ooh you know how much i love pickles”. I obviously made that up but right there i just revealed a very minor background about Kate that she likes pickles. Sure that’s not very interesting but my point is, this is the sort of the thing the writers could have added to give Kate or any other character something of interest.
Listen, i tried to be civil but after reading your response you have given me the impression you are a very young child that just likes any game you get your hands on. Sorry, im just being honest thats all and don’t intend to offend. You have been very defensive not just in my post but others as well who disagreed with you. You like the game fine. But the majority don’t because of all the flaws in the game that i listed and what others have pointed out to you.

Metellica Rocks, I'm not a child at all. Youre a hypocrite. I am not defensive or aggressive, I am debating in a civil manner. You have called my ideas stupid and "Fucking dumb" and now call me a child, seriously grow up. I'm 25 and I am open to new ideas.
You seem to ignore the plot holes of A New Frontier which are MUCH worse and noticeable than any writing in Season 2. Let me let them out fo… morer you:
* Javier's father somehow didn't attack or didn't follow Mariana the first time she checks on him as she says "Pepe's awake" which means he already turned and she was about to check on him for the second time with a glass of water or whatever.
* Salvador (Javi's father) somehow bit his wife on her cheeck despite the fact that we see him restrained by Javi and David.
* Javi's family survived 4 years of apocalypse using the same van that was used before what happened.
* Salvador somehow bit his brother Hector on his right arm. I don't care if they tried to make unpredictable, that's a bunch of bullshit.
* After 4 years of apocalypse, Gabe still acts like a whiny little asshole like he wasn't trained with any survival tips.
* Max blames Javi for stealing gasoline like he doesn't know that's … [view original content]
He had his back turned to her and she races to get him something to drink. This happens at the start of the outbreak.
She broke free of their grasp and she got bit quickly. Javi and David tried restraining her because they saw that this thing was no longer their father. This is the very start of the outbreak and I know this by how they all acted and there seemed to be riots going on in this city.
Gabe was going through puberty and so his emotions were off the rails. He knows how to handle himself because Javi only tells Marianna to hide if there is trouble.
He took care of the van because he reinforced it. In s1 of the show, people are shown to use the same old vehicles.
Hector got bit during the scuffle because he grabbed Salvador away from his family and they fought in the closet.
Max is a coward liar. He tried lying to the group leaders because he almost peed himself when he finds out that Javi is David's brother. That would be like beating up a co worker at work only to find out that the person that you beat up is the owner's son or daughter. He tried covering up the truth because he would have been killed otherwise. Joan also knew the truth because she is the mastermind and so she most likely helped him fabricate his story. Not to mention that Max's guy killed Mariana and later Max finds out that she was the daughter of David.
They were at the wrong place at the wrong time. That is why I told my family that we should leave asap because I got a bad feeling about the place. Max and his guys were psychopaths that couldn't be reasoned with.
He was most likely going to execute Javi after he helped him get something of importance. In Gladiator, Maximus is to be executed far away from their base to keep the volume down.
Clem possibly rigged the tree with a trap because she knew that road very well.
Driving a car isn't that hard with an automatic. I've been driving since I was 11 and during a crisis, I would have taught myself how to drive. It is possible that she found a driver's manuel and read what the icons meant above the steering wheel.
Tripp possibly froze for a moment. During a time like that, do you risk your loved ones or play the safe bet ? There were many walkers because Tripp, Clem, and Javi kill a bunch and yet many more shows up.
Tripp doesn't trust or believe Javi at first and for all he knew, the family story could have been a trap. Once Javi returns with his family, he respects Javi as a man that would risk everything for his family.
This is a very minor detail.
Yeah their models were awful and again, I feel that Wellington is the way to go.
14 and 15. Why is it dumb for Kenny or Jane to be killed off in a better way ? If either got trapped in a small place with Clem holding Aj, they would risk their lives so that both could escape. That would have been a great ending where both kill countless walkers and both call for the attention of more walkers before they are finally taken down. I've said over and over that the flashbacks for them were terrible. My original ending, I left with Kenny. I said back then that if they chose to have several endings, that they would need to end Clem's story arc. The writers kind of wrote as they went, I mean wtf happened with Mike and the rest of the group taking Arvo's side so quickly ? Mike and Luke were just shot and they act like it was Kenny's fault. Kenny grabs Arvo to make the gunman come out and lower his gun and the group are like "What are you doing Kenny ?" it was moments like this that caused me to hate the season. When I found out that Clem was returning, I went back and stayed at Wellington, which was a better ending for me anyway.
I don't care what Tell Tale says, That was New Frontier that took down Wellington. They were so powerful, I mean, look at the map that David gives Javi. They were taking so many settlements out.
Badger was a psychopath just like Randal was from Michonne Mini series. He does whatever he wants to do. Even Max was shocked when Badger kiled her and Max also didn't agree with taking down Prescott, but Badger did.
Kate was in shock when Marianna was shot. I was also because as she picked up her headphones, I saw a head from the woods and I tried to tell her to get over here, but it was too late. This wasn't an oversight at all because Gabe also was shocked and Javi was telling everyone to get to cover.
I went with Eleanor with Clem because we both were locked up when I lied to Tripp and Conrad about the shooting being in self defense. I trusted Clem about the place and I rather would take her side because she knew the place better than I did. I didn't go with Tripp because I had to get to my family.
Eleanor believes Javi about his family and she also feels that Clem shouldn't be locked up and so she says that she can help. She is a random person and yet, I didn't mind. I told Clem that it could be a trap, yet I had to risk it to get back to the Junkyard.
It was a nice nod to Wolf among Us. Look at my profile picture, I also fail to see how that would be a negative to the story.
Max was a liar. As I have said before, He freaked out when he found out that this was the family of his boss, David. In the church building, Max has a worried look as he looks at David and the other leader tells him to ignore David and look at him. Max was trying to save his own skin and so he cooks up a story with Joan most liekly helping him.
Badger destroys the place because he is crazy. New Frontier have a nasty habit of destroying places and taking hostages and supplies like pirates. They are the land version of Norma's Pirate brigade from Michonne mini series. Norma's people, Joan's people, and The Govenor's people all had no idea that their leaders were killing people and taking their stuff.
It seems that Prescott wasn't that big of a place. There might have been more guards, but they were caught by surprise.
Conrad blames Javi for her death. Had he never showed up or if he had taken her place, she might still be alive. I told them that I wasn't coming with them because I couldn't do that. Kate was badly injured and Gabe needed me. If she dies and something happens to me, then Gabe is screwed.
Tripp had to leave the place and plan. The place was done for because of the tear gas and the Walkers.
Paul was a mysterious man. He might have researched Richmond afterwards when he was gone for awhile.
Please, no more Season 2 talk, goodness. It is because Season 2 should have ended with Wellington. The Jane ending alone was rushed because again ding, ding, we have a winner, Kenny was right as usual. Going to Howes was a terrible idea. It was the very opposite direction and it was overrun with walkers and we weren't sure what happened to Tavia and the 400 Days group. It would have been dumb to go all the way back to Howes only for it to be a waste of time. Plus we only knew Jane for a very short time, she is introduced at the end of episode 3, lol.
Clem could have sensed that Javi wasn't going to really sell her out. In my playthrough, I reason with Conrad and say, please set my son down. When he lowers his guard, I shot him in the head. He was a good guy, yet he lost it badly when his wife died. For him to grab an innocent kid like that because he was that angry at Javi, it showed that he was gone. Kenny at his worst would never grab Clem and point a gun at her head.
Joan might have ordered that Max says nothing. For all she knew back then, Rufus was still on the road. I shot him because I had to get back at my family and they had already shown me that they were bad people.
We don't know that for sure because we aren't there. David tells them that it takes longer for some people depending on how they behave to leave Qurintine.
By now, people assume that if someone is not in a group, they are dead. As I've stated before, I had taken Kate as my wife and David's kids as my own. They had no idea that I had a brother by how I treated the family of his that I had taken.
David probably didn't want to dwell on such a bad memory.
Joan was a manipulative woman. She had me fooled for awhile by her sweet demeanor, yet she is a snake in the grass. She wanted to get rid of Javi without raising any suspision from David. She orchrested it all to fool Clint and David. Whenever David believed Javi, thats when Joan started to fool Clint by saying "He's only doing this because that is his brother". David even said that it was a power struggle overthrow because Joan had to keep her people and Clint in the dark about her actions.
She probably does this because she sees that Javi is a good man and that it is hard to come across people like him anymore. He had every reason to throw her under the bus and he chose not to.
36 and 37. Lingard was a friend of David's and he was a fellow leader. He was an equal to David and also David thought that he could get him to be clean of drugs. I've already stated that David threw Clem out for stealing because he didn't want to waste medicine on a lost cause. Lingard said that even with the medicine, Aj had a small chance of living. He kept Aj because he didn't want to put him or Clem in danger. When AJ got his medicine he beat the odds and bounced back. David warms up to Aj overtime and raises him because he becomes a dad again.
Max and Lonnie probably ran away during the chaos because they knew that they were doomed for betraying Joan. I let him live because we needed proof to show Clint what Joan was really like and to also clear David's name.
They probably didn't believe Javi and David, because it was the word of one rogue man. I killed Lingard because I needed to end his suffering and to also help Clem find AJ, this backfired when Joan accuses Javi of killing him and it was my word against hers when I said that he was a junkie that had an overdose. Clint still doesn't believe this and wants to banish them. I didn't shoot Joan because that would have been dumb of me to do. I'm surrounded by guards and the noose would have been tightened on David for this.
Change of plans ?
I did this to get my family out of there as a backup plan if David's plan failed. We also didn't know him anymore and I didn't want to risk Kate's life or mine because if we stayed with him, he'd have to know the truth about Kate and I. To answer your question about how she dodged them ? I distracted the guards and she got lucky, real lucky, lol.
Adrenaline is the answer. Gabe's life was in danger and so the wound didn't matter to me.
Javi forces himself to be quiet when she cleans his arm because they are still in stealth mode.
I wouldn't know because I've never liked Jane. Kenny was right about her, I mean, if you et Kenny kill her, he regrets it. He says that he would have stopped the fight if she admitted that Aj was ok. She was the real Carver in the situation because like Joan and Carver, they manipulated people.
It wasn't out of nowhere. Eleanor says that her and Tripp dated in the past and yet they remained only friends after that. Tripp tries to date her again because he has changed since then.
Gabe was angry with Javi and Kate for trying to abandon David and that's why he brings it up. He wasn't thinking correctly and he is still growing up and so he fails to think before he acts. Gabe also is just scared and wants his family to be together.
There were walkers everywhere is why. They were distracted.
Because Joan is just that clever. Joan asks like "You see, this is what happens when people turn on us. They put us all at risk, look outside, those things could have killed us because of this man." They buy it.
It is not for no reason. She falls for Joan's lies that she can be the next head doctor and have a happy life with Tripp. She is genuinely shocked when Tripp is on the execution stage.
It's he said she said. The poeple are going to listen to Joan over a stranger.
David kills Clint, but Joan escapes and is lost somewhere. David's immediate reaction is to get his family out of there now that the walkers have entered the place.
Again, change in plans.
Kate has healed well over the past few days and thus she is fine. She jumped out of the truck when the molotov hit.
Eleanor does this because she is angry with herself. I didn't know Ava at all. Clem did, I didn't. I pretended that I had known Tripp for a few weeks and that we were good friends. I explained to him what Conrad did to Gabe and he forgave me eventually. I tried saving him.
That blockage led to a dead end.
That part was genius writing for Ava to get killed like that. I hated that it happened and yet it was a nod to how Lee and Pete got killed. You have to watch out for the hidden ones.
Why would they ? Clem still hates Ava because she blames her for getting her to join the New Frontier. David was upset because that was his best friend and his right hand man.
Fern was mentally damaged. She blames Javi for killing Rufus and she blames Kate for the truck because she doesn't know about the molotov. My heart raced when she pointed that gun at Kate. When David broke her arm, I thanked him because I wanted to do that. I feel bad for her, yet don't point a gun at my family.
Again, I tried to save Tripp. I barely knew Ava aat all and so it wouldn't make sense to trust her so much.
I tell people that it only makes sense to be with Kate and I feel that is how the writers wanted it.
Kate had been abused by David because David would regularly beat down Javi because he was an alcaholic. He was distant to Kate and his family and he admits it on the ledge after Fern is taken down. This was bad timing from her, yet she was finally standing up to him. Again, bad timing and yet we had to tell him sooner or later. I treated her like a friend before the outbreak. When we thought David was dead, we started dating overtime and we had much in common.
David cares for his family and wants to keep them safe. He wants to leave the place because he knows that his days are numbered after he found out who Joan really was.
Joan could have told Eleanor that those were a rogue group and that they would be punished for burning down Prescott.
Kate and I see that there is no escape from Richmond. We have to seal the Walker breach and she also sees that there are many good people at Richmond.
I would say that it is a mixture of both Javi choices and flashbacks as to who Clem sides with in the end.
That would be bad writing if she could drive a motorcycle. I had her help me with Kate because I pretended that there was no option to follow David, I planned on letting him cool off.
I cried harder than I did when Lee died when I saw Gabe. Because of David's emotions he crashed the truck. Gabe only followed him to beg him not to leave again because he didn't seem like he betrayed Javi. Clem had known Gabe for a few weeks and it was another person that she lost and cared for.I have never sided with Jane, but I saw a relationship blooming with them and I told Kate that this warmed my heart. I wanted a little Clem Jr and tell Gabe "That's my boy"
Even if you choose to follow David, Javi obviously helps with the Richmond situation afterwards.
They saw that it was Joan's fault all along and that they were fooled, so they accept Javi because they see that he is the truly good hearted one.
The walkers did try to go after Kate and the group at Richmond, we were killing many of them. Paul and his gang of The Horsemen of The Apocalypse lures the Walkers away as they kill them.
It is because she says this is something that she has to do alone to make up for her past mistakes with New Frontier. She also says that Javi needs to keep an eye on the place because he will make a great leader.
At the start, Clem hates people still and that is why she helped Javi. Once he helps her on several occasions and she sees that he is very similar to Lee, she begins to warm up to him. She is no longer interested in running away and when she finds out where AJ is, she is very happy.
Richmond has a weapon stash and so Javi probably gave her a good amount of ammo. Clem is in a good mood and that is why she kills the walkers at the end because it is a nod to the show in Season 3 at the prison when they are gunning down walkers and say that it is actually pretty fun. Clem is happy that she trusted Javi.

You're not a child, but can't even spell my name appropriately (seriously, not only did you spell Metallica wrong, but it's Rules, not Rocks). I never said you were a child, I'm just criticizing your arguments. I do believe that a legitimate argument can be made to say ANF is a good game, you're just not the one making it, your points are easily refuted and can be counterbalanced by points such as my own, as well as Dracula's and Dan's. You're clearly not open to new ideas because you're acting like this when people refute your claims.
"Why are you debating like that ?"
I'm kind of tired of repeating myself over and over

I was responding to Metellica. Also you should read my lengthy reply to yours. I have made good points and I've said that New Frontier did have hubs when Dan said that it didn't. Then it was "Those didn't count." Yes they do, Season 2 basically had zero.
Whatever, agree or don't agree. I love New Frontier. At least one or two people liked what I said and that's what I was aiming for.
You have a pretty funny way of responding from your age.
"Why are you debating like that ?"
I never asked this question.

When did I say you are?
You're a hypocrite
Yeah, I'm a hypocrite because I'm making much more sense than you. Butthurt much?
I am debating in a civil manner.
Yeah you sure do by telling people to have the same opinion as yours.
You have called my ideas stupid and "Fucking dumb" and now call me a child, seriously grow up. I'm 25 and I am open to new ideas.

Dude, again, it's Metallica. One of the best selling artists of all time, one of the most popular music artists in the world even today, 30+ years after recording their first album, first band to play on all 7 continents, winner of 9 Grammy awards. Seriously, it's not that hard.

Lmao, who cares ? I've said all that I needed to. I wrote for four hours on this subject and now we are having an argument about the spelling of a metal band from the 80's. I don't even care about metal.
The fact is that you guys don't want to like this game. I posted this topic to try and get anyone to look at this game in a new light and I'm happy about that. Good day.

Believe me, everyone wanted to like this game before it was released. Why would I forgive Telltale for ripping us off like a bunch of cats? All these 2 years and half have been wasted.

This topic doesn't work at all because fuck this game, fuck this fucking goddamn bullshit in particular. If you sir like it, that's fine, think whatever you please but making these defensive nonsensical arguments aren't going to help you and you should understand why we hate this game.

That's just plain not true. Go back and watch the first part of my ANF play through, I was ecstatic and incredibly optimistic about it. As I played it, that's when I began to not like it, because it wasn't very good.

I said “little” to no hubs which is a fact because there was hardly any in Season 3 and largely due to the shitty limited gameplay we were given. Season 1 had more hubs than ever though.
Honestly kid, it disappoints me that you like Season 3 but to even make an argument that it even comes close to what Season 1 was is ridiculous as it sounds like thats whst you feel. Season 1 was a godsend compared to this shit

Jane doesn't even have anything to do with romance. Why the fuck is she chosen to make Clem kiss boys of her age?
I will be willing to bet that Jane's fling with Luke and possibly Troy might of had something to do with that version of Clementine's actions with Gabe. Though I am ?% in agreement with your other points and assessments.

I'm glad to see you enjoyed the game so much. It's genuinely nice to know that A New Frontier was able to please some long term fans of the franchise, even if I don't exactly hold it in high regard personally. Can't really say I agree with most of the stances you gave in this thread though, but I suppose I can see where you're coming from at least. Here's hoping The Final Season ends the series on a high note we all can agree on.
Christ, that is quite the statement to make OP. You are free to like what you please but I'm telling you lol, the writing is objectively bad. I write for a living, went to college for it, and love it to death, and it is obscene what they have done to the story line. I feel like the minority group you are apart of (and it is definitely a minority), is like playing where's waldo with the entire universe as the book page.

So she told her about romance with boys but nothing about periods, which is extremely important to a young girl?
I hate to be the one to bring that up because even I hated that scene for a number of reasons, but that’s a detail that’s glossed over more often than not.

Your choice at the end of Season 2 does not matter in the slightest. The people who you are with all die.
What about the episode times? You could combine Episode 1 and Episode 2 together it wouldn't be as long as a season 1 episode.
The transition from Clementine to Javier to tempt more fans is appalling.
You play as Clementine in flashbacks and only in the flashbacks. Not the present. These flashbacks are 3-5 minutes long in all episodes.
The graphics look incredibly strange and rushed in some places. Remember the end of episode 4 when the zombies were coming through that gap?
The choices in ANF don't really matter because they won't be continued. The next season is a focus on Clementine. So the endings given to us in ANF won't really transition. I can almost confirm to you that you won't be seeing those past characters again. You'll maybe get a dialogue here or two, but that's it.
I personally hated Season 2 because the writing was awful.
Well in some parts I hated season 2. The fourth episode was total garbage. Oh you wanted to save Sarah? Oh you wanted to save Nick? Oh that Russian scene? A lot of season 2 became pointless in the end and that's a real shame. Unless you count it towards things like Clementine 'growing up'. The past characters you were with all died. The entire Cabin crew and later on Kenny, Jane, Edith, the purpose of Wellington, ect were all crushed in ANF. I can't say you're wrong. But it did have it's resounding moments. I really liked seeing Kenny come back, even if that made a lot of people disappointed. It sure did make Season 2 a lot more interesting. Carver motives made some sense as a dictatorial asswipe. The Cabin Crew had a decent amount of personality, it's just a shame they wasted that in the end.
I actually plan on making a YouTube video about the flaws of that game in the future.
At least compare it to ANF, I'd love to see your reasons on that haha.
I will say that the ending with Kenny saying goodbye to AJ and Clem and leaving them at Wellington was the best part of the season.
Perhaps since we don't know what happened to Kenny. The endings are something I were really interested in until ANF shot them all down. And trust me, they did. We didn't even see inside Wellington. Over capacity my ass. If they were so over capacity, it speaks to question how the New Frontier even managed to get access. There is NO explanation given. Kenny: "Look at those high walls". Too bad Trump didn't make them 10 feet higher. This is just from the Wellington ending. Do you get the picture as to why ANF is starting to suck or how you 'don't see all the hate for it?'
Now before I played New Frontier, I heard that it was awful.
Please excuse our 'rambling' in the forums. We have (had) a passion for this series.
I pulled out my torches and pitchforks with the mob because I assumed that the disaster of Season 2 had returned.
That seems more like your problem. You can't just assume things before playing or watching them. Before I looked at the spoilers and such these forums given, one day one of release, I actually watched how it was going down. It certainly disappointed me. Of course I flipped my shit.
I was confused at first because Mini Series Michonne was incredible and I found it amazing.
Eh... It was alright I guess...... Randall and Norma were the highlight of the episodes.
"How and why are they reverting back to Season 2 ?" I thought as I read angry New Frontier topics.
They didn't revert. They created something worse. How many topics did you read exactly and for that matter, why can't you understand the complaints in those threads?
Wow, Walking Dead New Frontier was amazing. From start to finish it was a great game and I must say that the ending was on par with the ending of Season 1 with Lee.
I was crying lots during this season and that ending hit me hard with two tragedies at once.
Yeah I was crying as well. Crying of disappointment.
I couldn't breathe when I saw one character that was bit.
How the hell did you survive season 1?
I kept saying No over and over.
I kept saying no to the majority of ANF.
We talked for awhile and I gave them a gun and walked away. I lost my breath completely when I heard the gunshot.
The ending was great though and the game was a roller-coaster of emotions.
Was this Gabe? Well he was messing up so many times that it eventually caught up to him.
I look forward to Walking Dead The Final Chapter. It's supposed to conclude Clementine's story and maybe even Javier's.
I'm pretty sure Javier's is done. After the amount of backlash I don't think they'll want to touch anything remotely close to ANF again, and thank god for it. As for Clementine, where the story SHOULD'VE been, I'm still interested in seeing how they play this final season out, even if I don't have high hopes for it given ANF and the short development time.
The writing and acting was top notch.
Can't say much for acting. The writing wasn't top notch. It is terrible. Look at the above for my reasons, if you need more, well I can explain it if you want.
Not once did I cry more than once per season before I played New Frontier.
I can understand this with season 2, but Season 1? Are you really sure about that? ANF left me in tears only because of how bad it was, and that's not a good thing.
The guy I fight with the most is a very good villain in my opinion. He's not entirely bad or good, he's flawed and he's like a version of Magneto. My relationship with David is like the relationship of Professor X and Magneto,
David was actually a pretty good character until the end of episode 5, where they twisted his personality for no reason. Even if you stand by his side 100% of the time, you still get in the confrontation with him, you can dis' him for 100% of the game as well and then choose to side with him at the very end.
it's a destructive one and yet when they work together, they can do much good.
I mean they work together for a very limited amount of time, but David was actually going to abandon Javi because of his status at the New Frontier, only then did David want Javi back to stop Joan.
The one scene with them and their father was great and that's exactly what I loved about this season, it brought in the equation of humanity and Trust.
Too little too late to be honest. He comes out of nowhere in a flashback in episode 5. Seemed like a decent character though.
It’s baffling to me that none of the women we knew mentioned it to her. The women in season one, I could totally see them explaining it to her except she was only eight.
Season two there was Sarah, Jane, and Rebecca, none of which seem likely to explain it to her based on their relationship with Clementine, but even then there were 16 months with Christa that she never learned a thing about it? That’s what I find hard to believe.

Thanks, I like your avatar!
I'd imagine that conversation could be implied to have happened off screen. Jane just gives off these bad example big sister vibes for Clem. Like she'd let Clem smoke pot at her age or get piercings because she's a free spirit she thinks it's not a big deal if Clem heard about drugs and sex at a early age. I can see her telling Clem if Clem felt something for a guy.. to just go for it. Ya only live once and life is short or something like that. Kenny would be the opposite of this and the alone ending speaks for itself.
Comments
Why the fuck are you comparing the length of a miniseries with the one of a full season? Were your money worth this short full priced game?
There is a reason why this game is a Point and Click Adventure game. This isn't Planet of the Apes Last Frontier which is much worse.
That's much worse.
I don't remember Michonne being so cold to people she doesn't trust.
Looking for a coin resulted in getting out of the meat locker and trying to start the train helped the group reach Savannah. Jesus Christ, do you even video game, bro??!!!!
It was still a lackluster of hubs. Two isn't enough.
Then why should I care about them if I don't know much about them?
I actually was talking about the coin to start up the telescope, not the meat locker scene. There is no need to be so rude.
If Lee didn't use the telescope they probably wouldn't have noticed Molly and she would have just killed him and Kenny in stealth way.
I'm not rude but you're not making much sense surprisingly.
Aww, thanks.
Really, you don't mind paying more money for less content? You don't mind spending $30 for about 6 hours of content and about $25 for 11-12 hours of content? Okay then, who am I to judge.
But we don't, and we're playing as Javi. If I don't know, then Javi doesn't know.

Lol well good for you if you don’t mind paying for a full priced game that lacks the quality Season 1 did. Fine.
Except that this is a game we are supposed to be playing. I would have bought a movie if i wanted to sit through 90% of the scenes. Again if your happy with that fine. I on the hand call it lazy by Telltale who would rather us watch an episode than play it.
I actually agree with this.
Damn right they should have been!
I called it ages ago when I said that there should have been only one S2 ending and it should have been Wellington.
Again I actually agree. I would have even preferred that they ended walking dead after season 2.
No offence but how are you exactly debating by saying that?
LOL!
Oh my god this is golden! You said it better than i did haha!
I dont have a problem with this kid liking the game but his/her reasons are terrible
Amen

Your welcome
"Why are you debating like that ?"
I'm kind of tired of repeating myself over and over
Metellica Rocks, I'm not a child at all. Youre a hypocrite. I am not defensive or aggressive, I am debating in a civil manner. You have called my ideas stupid and "Fucking dumb" and now call me a child, seriously grow up. I'm 25 and I am open to new ideas.
Hey, thanks for watching my play through
You're not a child, but can't even spell my name appropriately (seriously, not only did you spell Metallica wrong, but it's Rules, not Rocks).
You have a pretty funny way of responding from your age.
I never asked this question.
When did I say you are?
Yeah, I'm a hypocrite because I'm making much more sense than you. Butthurt much?
Yeah you sure do by telling people to have the same opinion as yours.
I never said something like this. You got it out of your mind.
You just responded to my comment. Look it up.
Also, it's fucking Metallica, you wrong speller.
Good day.
LMAO, you're being ridiculous. You're showing no respect to a fan of a band. Hell, I'm not interested in Metallica but why would I say bad things about it?
Believe me, everyone wanted to like this game before it was released. Why would I forgive Telltale for ripping us off like a bunch of cats? All these 2 years and half have been wasted.
This topic doesn't work at all because fuck this game, fuck this fucking goddamn bullshit in particular. If you sir like it, that's fine, think whatever you please but making these defensive nonsensical arguments aren't going to help you and you should understand why we hate this game.
Im gonna continue enjoying this dumpsterfire of a thread until it gets closed when it goes too far.
Ehhhh, ANF wasn't THAT bad. Wasn't that good, but it wasn't that bad either.
Yeah, what this guy said ^
Don’t wish to be negative but i really don’t think it will
Oh yeah, I forgot about that but still doesn't make sense because Jane never told her something about romance with boys of her age.
She probably this off-screen if you chose the Jane ending. We haven't seen everything that has happened to Clementine after Season 2.
So she told her about romance with boys but nothing about periods, which is extremely important to a young girl?
I hate to be the one to bring that up because even I hated that scene for a number of reasons, but that’s a detail that’s glossed over more often than not.
Agreed. There even threads about it...
I am surprised that Jane never told Clementine about periods as well!
I really like your username, btw.
I've got some bad news for you.
At least compare it to ANF, I'd love to see your reasons on that haha.
Please excuse our 'rambling' in the forums. We have (had) a passion for this series.
That seems more like your problem. You can't just assume things before playing or watching them. Before I looked at the spoilers and such these forums given, one day one of release, I actually watched how it was going down. It certainly disappointed me. Of course I flipped my shit.
Eh... It was alright I guess...... Randall and Norma were the highlight of the episodes.
They didn't revert. They created something worse. How many topics did you read exactly and for that matter, why can't you understand the complaints in those threads?
Yeah I was crying as well. Crying of disappointment.
How the hell did you survive season 1?
I kept saying no to the majority of ANF.
Was this Gabe? Well he was messing up so many times that it eventually caught up to him.
Can't say much for acting. The writing wasn't top notch. It is terrible. Look at the above for my reasons, if you need more, well I can explain it if you want.
I can understand this with season 2, but Season 1? Are you really sure about that? ANF left me in tears only because of how bad it was, and that's not a good thing.
David was actually a pretty good character until the end of episode 5, where they twisted his personality for no reason. Even if you stand by his side 100% of the time, you still get in the confrontation with him, you can dis' him for 100% of the game as well and then choose to side with him at the very end.
I mean they work together for a very limited amount of time, but David was actually going to abandon Javi because of his status at the New Frontier, only then did David want Javi back to stop Joan.
Agreed with all of this.
Aw, thank you!
Exactly what I said and didn't see your message until after I responded due to this badly awkward new format.
You know its possible Christa told Clementine about periods. They were together a long time
EDIT - wait? Did Clementine say she didn’t know anything about periods? If so then scrap what i just said lol
