What if Omid and Christa replaced Alvin and Rebecca
What would you think about Omid and Christa taking Alvin and Rebecca’s roles for season 2. The story would’ve need to be tweaked a lot for that to fit in, but it’s better than to just get rid of them during the first 10 minutes of the season.

I believe they were supposed to but they changed it in late development
i think it would have worked really well althought then they would have to change the motive for Carver chasing down the Cabin Group.
love this idea! rather than ruining the game in the first 5 minutes it would of been great to interact with Christa and Omid throughout season 2, there also should of been a payoff seeing them reunite from the start.
Contrary to what many people would like believe, that was likely not on the table for very long if it ever actually was. On the off chance that it was(which, to be fair, is a fair chance given Sean Vanaman was responsible for the initial outline(s) and even the original draft/script for All That Remain), it would've been realized early on that it wouldn't really make sense with the story concept they settled on.
anyone could've replaced Alvin and Rebecca and i woulda been happy. Alvin was cool for the 5 minutes of interaction we had between eachother, but Rebecca was annoying as hell and left me with her baby. lmao

On another note, I still cant fathom why they decided to kill off the only Season 1 survivors that werent Clem for no reason at all, they could have shown Clems path to independence without just getting rid of them, have Christa be the one Clem finds at the Ski Lodge instead of Kenny, fuck I dunno I am still kinda salty that Kenny took so much screentime in season 2
Now that, I agree, would've been a little interesting. Not as interesting as if it was Lilly, mind you, but the seeds for an interesting [side] arc was already set up.
Would have given Clem a much more logical connection to the baby. Alvin and Rebecca were uninteresting and forgettable characters.
I agree with Lilly actually, since she is a character who was very significant in Season 1, and could still be alive, I think having her in the final season (now that season 2 isnt possible anymore) would be interesting, having a much more mature Clementine meet Lilly, who killed someone from their group, which in the case of Carley at least (dont know about doug, have never done his route”) upset Lee quite a bit.
It would be interesting to see how a meeting like that would go, and what Lilly would have to say to things like Kenny being dead, Lee being dead and so on
I think too much time passed, I don't think Clem would be interested on where Lilly was all this time and vice versa
Sure, but knowing what Lilly did, if they did meet again, I am pretty sure Clementine would not be keen on that reunion

I had the idea of Omid being killed by Carver to give the effect of a beloved character dying feeling that loss as i am sure many would have been devasted seeing him die like that. I had Christa be the one to deliver Rebecca’s baby and struggling to cope as she not long ago lost her baby as we all know. I wouldn’t have replaced Rebecca and Alvin though
